In the past, I usually only fasted on the Day of Atonement, but last year I believe it was 3 or 4 times due to praying harder for this nation. You see, it's not the COVID that concerns me, but rather the pandemic used as an excuse for governments to wield more power and authority (and to instill more fear in the public so there is $$$ to be made). We are approaching the end of days and conditions are being paved for a one-world leader/government Revelation warns us about (although I'm not sure I'll see it in my lifetime or not considering I'm well into my 60's). I've been seeing this coming for years and years now and must confess I was a bit lazy not giving more serious prayer to it all... I thought merely telling people what was coming was enough, but it's not. It's funny that this thread came up. I was planning on fasting and praying fervently again this coming month.

Fasting is a great way to show the skin and bones who is the boss.
The (God centered) mind is in control of everything, including hunger and eating !
