WHY GOD REJECTED ISRAEL

Matthew 21:33 "Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:
21:34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.
21:35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.
21:36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.
21:37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.
21:38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.
21:39 And they caught him, and cast [him] out of the vineyard, and slew [him].
21:40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
21:41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out [his] vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
21:42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

21:45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them".

Jesus was revealing the Bible Prophecy found in Daniel 9:24-27 (which reveals, the probation time, Israel had left).......
(BUT....before we go there.....)

REMEMBER:
Matthew 18:21 "Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
18:22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until [seventy times seven]".
QUESTION: Do you think Jesus just grabbed that number out of the air, randomly ?

NO !
Christ's response to Peter, contained a VERY IMPORTANT lesson.
70 times 7 = 490....right ?
.....which is a perfect reference to the 70 week prophecy found in Daniel 9:24-27.
Daniel 9:24 "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy....."

Thus far in the prophecy we see, that the object was to, 'finish the transgression'.....'to make an end to sins'....'to make reconciliation for iniquity'.....'bring in everlasting Righteousness'.....and, the people had 70 weeks (prophectic weeks = a day for a year) ...to do it in !

Now, look at the parable again.....Who was the SON......what happened to the SON ?

And as a result, God turned to the Gentiles...after what the Jewish nation did, to Jesus Christ.

But Romans 9-11 make it abundantly clear that God has by no means finished with the Jews, but affirms the many promises in Isaiah 40-45, Jeremiah 31, Ezekiel 36, Zechariah 12, etc & warns us Christians not to be haughty about the Jews, reminding us that if God did not spare Jews who turned against Him, neither will He spare 'Christians' who take part in the Great Apostasy forecast in 2 Thessalonians 2, 2 Timothy 3, etc

The Greek apo stasis means more than 'falling away' from the faith:it means to stand against - to live as an enemy of the gospel, in the spirit of antichrist, as in 2 Thess 2 forecasting many antichrists, as well as the ultimate 1

Greek anti means in place of, as well as against - Antichrist will demand that the world worships him in place of God: see Revelation 13 & Daniel 11, etc

Romans 9-11 makes it clear that - as in Ezekiel 36, Jer 31, etc - God's goal for the Jews is not just to restore the exiles to Israel, but to bring them to spiritual rebirth & renewal that will bless the whole world

Israel was indeed 'a nation born in a day' - May 14, 1948 - just as God promised @ 800 years before Christ was born

Jesus, in Matt 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, etc, also repeated & affirmed the repeated prophetic promises that this climax generation of all history, that will see Messiah return, would start with that rebirth of the nation of Israel

Now, the desert has, indeed, 'bloomed as a rose'

The 'ancient ruins' are now indeed 'rebuilt'

Israel has indeed 'filled the world with her fruit' all as God specifically promised to do, to vindicate His holy name in the eyes of all nations, so that all nations will know that the Lord alone is God & will not share His glory with idols - inc stone idol moon-god Allah, preached by false prophet Mohammed

Koran lied about a false, promiscuous 'paradise of 72 virgins for each mas-murdering jihadist

It lied about Allah never letting a muslim nation be beaten in battle by a non-muslim nation - witness the many miraculous victories He gave tiny Israel against all Arabs in 1948, '56. the 6 Days War of '67 & the 1-day Yom Kippur War of '73

Genesis 12 & Gen 15, etc, promise the Promised Land to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob & the Jews as an everlasting possession, with precise boundaries

Zech 12-14, Joel 3 & Rev 16-19, etc, promise even greter victories, inc by Messiah's return @ Armageddon, against all the armies of the world, under Antichrist

Must go!

Amazing thing about the modern Christian world......total rejection of certain portions of what the Bible says....instead of trying to take those protions of scripture and making them fit with everything else written.

Any, wonder why God warns people, about Paul's writings (2 Peter 3:15,16).

but affirms the many promises in Isaiah 40-45, Jeremiah 31, Ezekiel 36, Zechariah 12, etc & warns us Christians not to be haughty about the Jews, reminding us that if God did not spare Jews who turned against Him, neither will He spare 'Christians' who take part in the Great Apostasy forecast in 2 Thessalonians 2, 2 Timothy 3, etc
There are 2 kinds of Jews mentioned in scripture....Spiritual Jews (Christians), and National Jews.

Please provide scripture, to back up that theory.

Well presented....Classical Replacement Theology at it's best......

True spiritual Israel was called from national Israel. Today, the true church is called from humanity. Together the true believers are the elect, God has only one people, so is it replacement or continuation theology?

It doesn't matter what kind of handel you put on it, in Matthew 23:38 the whole candlestick of Revelation 2:5 was removed and the new one replaced it as the old! Their Whole FOLD became DESOLATE of Christ!

And any one can read on for who became [their captain of the ship!] :sad 'We have no king, but Caesar' they cried! :crying: And now who was the new fold? Acts 9:6. :fadein:

Romans 2:24-29 doesn't mess with terminology. As we also again see a repeat in Revelation 3:9.
(from a 'Spewed out seventh Virgin Fold' again, to the sixth of replacement!.. as before! Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 & Ecclesiastes 3:15 That is not nothing New God says!) See Revelation 12:17.

So what if one of Revelation 17:5's fold has something correct, does that mean anything more than Catholics having a stand on abortion correct? Hardly!!

'WHY GOD REJECTED ISRAEL' ??

The Word has documented the reason in Isaiah 5:3. Christ had a Vineyard as the whole chapter depicts. And it was His Vineyard as we see in verse 1.

But it came to the place that the Vineyard (Virgin Fold) meant more to the membership, than Christ Himself did!

And in verse 3 we see that they as a True Virgin Doctrinal Fold were called to make a DECISION. Christ said: "Judge, I pray you, [BETWIXT ME AND MY VINEYARD]". And most know the outcome of their choice? The 'fold' stayed in/tack & the remnant followed Christ [out]!

That by the way was & is the 'Midnight Cry' of Matthew 25:1-6, with its full explanation of this 'parable' to Christ's disciples over in Matthew 10:5-6 on! (do not confuse this with the Loud Cry of 70 AD & the 666 testing. both of these testings are for the 'professed Christian' worldwide & those who had been in/mature)

And it was a real 'Believed on Him' test (shaking=falling away) for some, see John 12:42-43 and their wrong decision!! :crying:
