How close is God to the fullness of the Gentiles coming in. Romans 11:25 NKJV

The thread question is: Why has the LORD allowed Satan to continue for so long?

I would ask, "Why has the CHURCH allowed Satan to continue for so long?".
Jesus said to make disciples of all nations.
God gave a similar command to Israel when they entered the promised land; He told them to exterminate all the inhabitants of Canaan because, by their sin they had polluted the land. Israel never did complete that task and so they tempted to imitate the vile practices of their pagan neighbors.
The Church has not, to this point, completed it's task of making disciples of all nations. The majority of the population of the earth is not Christian. Many are hostile to Christianity. (Muslims, Materialists [communist/socialist], atheists, Buddhists, Hindus)

God has given the Church, His body, the authority and the power to overcome Satan at every point.
But we haven't.
Many churches are no more than social clubs, or Bible studies, or self-improvement groups, all of which are focused on the individual (alleged) believer rather than the lost.
Jesus came to seek and save the lost and then turned the job over to the Church.
So, what happened?

2 Peter 3:8-10

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

The Day of the Lord
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

When we see God in Christ by His Spirit moving upon the people and nation of Israel, turning to Jesus, THEN thee end is upon this wicked age.

Romans 11:
15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

God certainly is longsuffering, but His patience is wearing thin with this evil world for it repented God that He even created man, but did find favor in Noah who was found righteous before God, Genesis 6:6-9. Only God knows the last one who will repent and turn back to Him and the rest of us had better be about our Fathers business so Satan can not gain another to his kingdom.

The fullness of the Gentiles makes up all of Israel that will be saved, but yet many are added daily until the time of Christ return. As Ephraim mixed himself up with other nations that was a foreshadowing of the Gentiles being grafted into Israel meaning all of Israel will be saved that have faith in God as being part of the covenant God made with Abraham, Genesis 12:1-3; 48:17-19; Hosea 7:8. Jesus told the Apostles to proclaim the Gospel first in Jerusalem, then Judea, then Samaria and then to the ends of the world, Acts 1:8; 8:14-17, Samaria is the fulfillment of the restoration of Israel as both Jew and Gentiles both dwelt there.

The church has allowed it because it has allowed the values of men to invade it and given Satan a foothold as such.
The church has not fully grasped the power and authority of Jesus and therefore doesn't teach it, if it does I'm not sure it follows it up with how to win the spiritual battle it faces.

I do think however the church should be social, engage in bible study, and teach people how to grow as believers and realise that God loves them so much and died for their sin and will heal them, deal with them with loving kindness, has removed their guilt and has given them a job as such. Hurting wounded people to be treated as they are and made well again.

If they do so then people would be less self focused and outward focused.

Ephesians 6:10-17
The Whole Armor of God
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

When beleivers grasp that we are in a spiritual battle and how to take authority then we can boldly take the gospel into the world rather than allow the world to take the gospel away from us.

Who should we blame for what is going on in this world, the Government, the Churches, Satan or ourselves!!! I will say ourselves as if we would put more energy into witnessing Christ to others than we do arguing and debating Gods word we could make a big difference in the world. It truly does not matter who is right or who is wrong through the teachings of theology or doctrine for if we are allowing Gods Spirit minister His word to us then we need to stand by our own convictions of faith in Christ and be that witness that God has called all of us to be so we can get back to basics and take His salvation message out to those who need to hear and will accept Jesus into their hearts and also to help meet the needs of those less fortunate then ourselves.

Are we witnessing Christ to others as the disciples did in simplicity of His word, or are we allowing ourselves to be puffed up like the Pharisees who loved to be seen of others for their ways of vanity. Salvation is not theology or doctrines of the Church, but a conscience desire to want Jesus in your life and how to receive His call to Salvation. People want to clean up others before they come to the Lord, but Jesus says you come as you are and I will change whatever needs changing starting with your heart.

John 10:9 I am the door, if any man enter in, he shall be saved. Jesus was the word made flesh to dwell among us, John 1:14, to show us the way back to Gods grace. John 14:6 Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Romans 10:9, 10 if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in his heart that God has raised him from the dead thou shall be saved. Vs.10 for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation
