Several false dogmas are needed to define the End times ones. Why not link them together!

OSAS + Eternal 'in hell' burning, and surely sun worship.
Are we ashamed to do so??
See Matt. 10:32-33

Wow you are dense!;) (just kidding with you.. personally I kind of like you)

But did you see the heading... 'Why not tell what you believe? OSAS + ETERNAL BURNING?'

OK: Now.. I believe that this is one of the daughters of Babylon as seen in Rev. 17:5. And it has grown into a very large church for these last days. Many different ones with all the same OSAS + ETERNALLY BURNING & sun is sacred false teachings. And included was Matt. 10:32-33.

Sure there are true folks who had taught this for truth & had passed without a question of being saved. (died IN the faith believing this false 'promise' of life)

But this is the last day that we are talking of??? So with that 'day' we must include Rev. 18:4

We should always be ashamed to slander those who confess Jesus Christ before men. Who exactly are you accusing of false dogmas such as sun worship?

-The Catholic Universe Bulletin, August 14, 1942, page 4.

"The Church changed the observance of the Sabbath to Sunday by right of the divine, infallible authority given to her by her founder, Jesus Christ. The Protestant claiming the Bible to be the only guide of faith, has no warrant for observing Sunday. In this matter the Seventh-day Adventist is the only consistent Protestant."
________

And who slandered the ones who ignorantly believed their teachings?

But did you see the heading...

:) Yes, I am. I kind of like you, too.

I did read the heading....but THEN I read the OP.

I think I know what you believe about the Sabbath and we won't agree. But I don't think either of us are endanger of losing our salvation over it. So moving on...

If your heading is the real theme of the post, I'll just address that because frankly still don't see where you are going.
I almost believe OSAS but I see about two scriptures that make me believe it may be possible for a mature Christian to reject Christ and His works.
Eternal burning...I don't know.

I do not believe that there is one denomination or nondenomination group that has everything right. I will not judge another person's salvation, only God knows their heart and why the believe what they do.
I can disagree with a particular doctrine.

Elijah,

While I have no idea what the big deal is about Sunday/Saturday service times, I DO know one thing for sure:
Worshipping on Sunday is not, in any sense of the word, "Sun Worship".

My answers:
OSAS - In general, I do believe in "Once saved, always saved". If someone accepts the gift of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, they are saved. I do not believe anyone can 'undo' His work. He died for me while I was yet a sinner, if He would do that, I cannot imagine what would make Him "undo" it or "take it back".

ETERNAL BURNING - I am unsure on this one. But I don't believe in Jesus just to avoid burning in Hell forever. I looked at the biblical account, I looked at the old and new testaments, and I prayed and prayed - and came to the conclusion that Jesus was who He said he was. In the 36 years since that day, I have come to believe in Him even more.

John 3:16

New International Version (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Jesus said, "It is finished". He is the authority, not me. So for me, when it comes to arguments about my being saved - it is finished.

Thanks loads! For once, a clear statement for what you believe! (even if wrong) Believing error has the one still covered by the blood of Christ at present. Now comes Rom. 8:1 into Rom. 8:14 of being Led!

But do read Rom. 13, and tell me if you will execute the ones that Uncle Sam tells you to do so? Even standing by not saying anything will make one guilty. Caesar will be put before Christ in this last sequence.

Note Acts 5:27-29 and that all were agreeing thatChrist CAME FIRST!

PS: What is your take with Eze. 8 then??

[5] Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
[6] He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.
[7] And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.
[8] Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.
[9] And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.
[10] So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.
[11] And there stood before them [seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel], and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.
[12] Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.
[13] He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.
[14] Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.
[15] Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.

[16] And he brought me into the inner court of the [[LORD's house]], and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and [[they worshipped the sun toward the east]].

And what does God say is the greatest of ALL of these things???

--Elijah

Well Pizzaguy where did you go?? what about you guys and the verse? (v.16) Perhaps they are listed in the right order to, huh?

Why do you keep posting verses about Sun worship? I know of NO ONE today who worships the sun (exception being some of my Yoga friends who do "Sun Salutations" at sunrise, facing the sun - a practice I find disturbing, and I don't do that.)

What are you trying to prove or condemn?

Well just what does 'IT IS FINISHED' mean?? That kind of leaves you in space? (meaning whatever or where ever)

Well in the EAST is where the sun arises. And they worshiped the sun it documents. (but what is New God asks? Eccl. 3:15)

And today setting finds the whole (almost) Rev. 17:1-5 ones only agreeing to honor this day of sun worshiping! (and verse 5 says daughters)

And the book of James 2:7-12 say's if any one of the ten is broken, you are a sinner.

You are the one who keeps bring up this sun worship issue.

You are the one who claims that sun worship refers to having a church meeting on Sunday.

You are the one who made mention of this scripture - [16] And he brought me into the inner court of the [[LORD's house]], and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and [[they worshipped the sun toward the east]].

So again the emphasis for you is worshiping God on Sunday, you are claiming is sun worship.

Again I ask you, what day does the above mentioned scripture indicate they whey worshiping the sun.

If there is no day mentioned, they I would suggest to you that sun worship is bowing down and worshiping the sun, as these were in the scripture you gave, and NOT JUST GOING TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY.

Sunday is the Lords day, The day He rose from the dead.

Sunday represents resurrection.

Sunday represents a new beginning.

Saturday is a day of rest, a day not to travel some distance to go to church, but to rest.

Sunday is the Lord's Day.

Be at peace.

For some esteem one day above another, while others esteem every day as unto the Lord.

Blessed is the man who does not condemn himself in what he approves.

It is very tuff being 'yoked' to the Rev. 17:1-5 ones, (+ her daughters) huh?

If you find it tuff being yoked to whatever your talking about then ask the Lord to set you free.

For whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

Remember to repent, first.

When we yell loudly about anothers sin real or supposed the more our sins stand out.

Are you talking to me??
Well for me at least, the 'sighing & crying' is nothing personal! What you do with your 'personal' life has no bearing with what 'i' post about. OK?

--Elijah

Again: OSAS is satans 'teaching', as is the 'ETERNAL' Burning of anyone!

And the choice of who to serve is up to the individual himself. 'Choose ye who you will..' De. 30:19 + Jos. 24:15

And the DRAWING of the Holy Spirit has appeared upon [all] creation! See Gen. 6:3

And the teachings of Rev. 17:1-5 ones are nothing New God says! The Eccl. verses!

And while we are at it, ALL that are saved are called Israel from Adam on!
