Why so many theologies?

There IS only ONE truth so far as God and Christ are concerned. That there are SO MANY different religions is due to so few EVER even discovering this FACT.

Each religion is a human expression to reach out to God. They all contain some truth. However, there is only one place to find the "fullness" of religious truth. Those who choose not to follow this truth expressed by Christ's established Church are certainly not cast into total darkness and ignorance. But they do not have access to the truth God gave this Church.

God has left it upon each and every one of us to learn WHO He is and develope a relationship with HIM through His Son.

We are indeed responsible for our actions as well as our response to God. God will certainly take into accout what is in our hearts and whether we reject His truths.

Organizations will RARELY if EVER offer such insight into the TRUTH. They would be void of ANY importance if they did. So in order to maintain or create a 'need' in individuals for themselves they perpetuate or create 'religions' in which THEY are the 'creators'.

That is definitely not true. God did not leave us all by ourselves to develop this relationship. The entire Bible makes it perfectly clear that we come to God as a community of persons, just as He Himself is a community of Persons, Father, Son and Spirit. This "rugged individualism" is not biblical, but a product of the American secular mindset.

God gives the gift of the Holy Spirit for the sake of the Body, the Church. Not for personal gain.

The Bible IS a source for us to FIND the truth. It IS the Word of God. Regardless of WHO He chose to record it the PURPOSE was for those that read it to be ABLE to discern TRUTH.

True, the Bible is A source to find the truth. But like anything else, the truth can be twisted, willingly or ignorantly.

Why so many theologies?

Why don't Christians have the same theology?

What is the matter? I believe it is carnality. I believe carnality has been disguising itself as spirit, hence every man is right in his own eyes.

I have a very simple answer for this.

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine; but, having itching ears, will heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts;

2 Peter 2:1 But there arose false prophets also among the people, as among you also there shall be false teachers, who shall privily bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master that bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.

Mark 13:22 for there shall arise false Christs and false prophets

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Why? Simply put, because God said it had to happen that way. More specifically, carnality, you got it. There are tons of verses on this stuff.
