Bible Study Why Such a brutal Life And Death of Jesus The Christ?

While I was presenting my body to YHWH for a living sacrifice this morning, a thought struck me. Why couldn't our Salvation be brought to us without such a rejected life that Jesus lived, and such a brutal crucifixion?

Yhwh's Choice, Yhwh's Plan. To show His Wisdom and Judgment and Grace and Mercy not just to men who are saved in His Grace through faith in Yeshua,
but also to show angels ,
and to Perfectly develop His Chosen People and our character in Christ Jesus according to His Wisdom and Knowledge and Understanding.

It is practically unthinkable(to men) that God would become mere man on behalf of men, let alone
offer the sacrifice of Himself through crucifixion and such humiliation as He suffered,
yet He did, willingly, and did so even while we were still dead in sin and trespasses, each and every one of us.

For one thing, it allows us to accept any circumstances more comfortable than those He overcame as a blessing.

In another sense it expresses the true nature of creation's relationship to God. That we even exist is due to a sacrifice on God's part.

The reason why our King Lord Jesus Christ took our beating is John 3:16. He continued to get up from the ground because they had more punishment to give. Many say His body look like hamburger meat. The scripture says He was unrecognizable. He had to make sure that there would never every be question if our sin(s) debt was paid in full.

Worthy is the Lamb that was slain!!!!!!!

It was the will of God. Isa 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin . . Rev 13:8 . . the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Isa 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Joh 1:29 Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Isa 52:14 As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men.

Psa 116:12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
Psa 116:13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

Was there no other way? Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved, and

Thank you Jesus.

So that no-one could say of course it's easy for God to be so idealistic, He's never experienced the pain and suffering that humans go through.

We should be thankful that our Lord Jesus Christ didn't get off that Cross. He could have if He wanted too. Because He was also God who had a 12 legion of angels that = 36,000. If He would have came down off the Cross all would be doom. God hid wisdom from Satan as He continues to do. All things work for good for those who love God who are called according to His purpose.

As I was praying this morning, and presenting my body as a living sacrifice to YHWH, the thought came to me, "By His stripes we are healed." I hadn't thought of that initially, but that verse has a lot of meaning to my thread. What do you think?

1 Peter 2:24

Kathi, I love that verse! How many believers really live that verse? It's tragic really, that we don't reckon daily that we are dead to sins. There are some who continue to sin with the excuse, "I can't stop." Oh yes you can! That verse has the power of a mighty God behind it and He wouldn't say it in His Word if it was impossible. Praise God, Who has freed us from sin because He broke the curse on the cross!

Amen to that Chopper.
