Someone not too far away from where my Dad and Mom live was killed getting his mail by someone that accidently drove off of the road hitting him.Yes,becareful,and pray.

Yes, well God's word does encourage us to pray in ALL things. Can't imagine that wouldn't include our times when we're driving or planning to go out. Although likely most of us don't. I'm in the habit of praying just before setting off on a trip of any distance. We make a couple of trips to Florida a year and one or two out to Texas to visit my son. As we sit in the car in the driveway, I offer a prayer of protection and safety as we travel. And no, I don't have a St. Christopher hanging off my mirror. I don't believe that saints protect us. I believe it is God who protects us.
