You're welcome Dave :)

I've been listening too and reading John McArthur's sermons and books for the past 20 years. But I must admit, I don't always listen in every day, even though I do get a lot out of his teachings. :)

Here is a link to all the ministries that are listed over at ONEPLACE.COM

I like to see them in alphabetical order. It's easier for me to find the one's I like. I listen to lots of them! Along with reading my bible, I'm a sermon junkie.... If there is such a thing?

Good stuff Dave, thanks for the link guys! I don't guess I've ever herd John Macathur before. He is a good speaker! He seems to hit the nail on the head!

I've been listening to John for the last 7 or so...have always gotten a lot from his sermons.

John Piper, and Doug Wilson are also among my favorites...their wives have blessed me with a few books, and talks, as well.

Blessings

Do you purchase the mp3 downloads or just listen to them online? I really like having the sermons on my hard drive so I can listen to whenever the need arrises. This also makes them available to syncronize with my Pocket PC and take them with me on the go!

Hi Relic

I've been listening to Macarthur for about 6 years. About the same time that i've been saved. I often print out his sermons on his collection of sermons site and read them when I have time.

Alistair Begg is another one of my favorites. I used visit his gift shop from time to time and buy a series or five on cassette. this was just before he went to CD. I think that I had most of his stuff up to that point.

Alistair Begg is like the all star utility guy. He's solid for kids and seasoned veterans. I like Macarthur best because he was never afraid of going to scripture to answer the tough questions while others would avoid them. When you want answers, or at least something to test to scripture on a topic that others avoid, Macarthurs your man.

Well, Macarthur just finished the series. The one thing that really has me thinking is how he explained that religion is actually a move away from God, not towards Him. It's an interesting concept that would answer a lot of lingering questions that i've had.

videocrafter, I think that you can just download them. Double check to make sure. After some time has passed for the new stuff, you can read them here...

Oh oaky, I'll check into it further. It appeared to me that it cost $4.00 per download from OnePlace.com anyway. That seemed a bit expensive to me considering no materials shipping or handeling was involved. I currently have about 150 of 300 sermons I'm encoding to WMA files and putting online. Here is the link if your interested.

I'm currently working without sound, but if I get the chance, i'll definitely check some of those out, vc, thanks.

I broke the tape player in my truck from listening to sermons on tape. I also have the Alexander Scourby KJV Audio. What a great way to to stay close and focussed in our busy lives when we are working, or just busy running around.
