Wind storm for Oregon and Washington

Maybe that is what's going on here, too, with the underground wiring.

I just looked at a map and saw Drayton Harbor, that's a big one, I have been there then because I've been to that side of the Penisula. I have been to Birch Bay as well, it's beautiful there, just a lot more rain I think.
We're lucky here. The Birch Bay/Blaine area is in a rain shadow so we get a lot less rain than the surrounding areas.

How often do you take your boat out?Sailing is so peaceful. You only hear the water.
Yeah, on those perfect days it is nice. Then there are the normal days.... Well, lets not ruin the fantasy! :-)

I think that Seattle gets more rain than we do in SW Washington don't you Obadiah?

I thought up north near the water, around the Penisula (which is considered a rain forest correct?), gets more rain. I also thought Seattle and Portland received about the same, but I could be wrong about that.
I don't know what the average rainfal amounts are for those other areas. We get about 20"/year where I am...

I looked up mine and it s 37 inches a year.But we had a very,very dry summer.

I've never even looked up an official number for my area. I just know what my rain gauge says and that it compares with other rain gauges in the area. It varies but seems to normally be around 20". Although one year we got over 120"!!!

I looked it up and Seattle gets 371/2 inches a year. You are North of Seattle so....it looks like we are pretty close for rain.

I think all of WA and OR had a dry summer, I thought it was awesome!
I did not like the heat at all.I moved from a house that had A/C to a house that did not have A/C.Sometimes it was 90 degrees in the house.

rain in that state. phht, you don't even get thunderstorms that often. florida and the south? big time.

rain after noon during the summer is common. I cant count the time I was walking and working in the rain, I wont stop.

It got pretty warm, but I liked it. It wasn't so bad in the shade outside. Maybe you could get another a/c? Some people have the kind that just cool one room if you don't want central.

Thunderstorms are more frequent now.

I have been in a real thunderstorm in Texas, those are pretty cool.

If we didn't do stuff outside in the rain, we'd never get anything done. lol

I really do love a good thunder and lightening storm as long as no one gets hurt.I like to just stand on the porch and watch it.

In Oregon or Washington if you said you will do it when the rain stops....yes,you would not get anything done.

rain in florida usually comes by way of thunder storm. I live in lighting alley.

if I remember right. a light mist is the most common. phht. I had that a few days ago while training Justin on seagrove. I cant recall the times of heavy rain to where ones wipers didn't make a difference in Washington.

The last couple of summers have been super dry here, prior it was unusual to have a summer that had 10 days without rain, now we've had 3 months without rain.

It does still mist here, but when it rains, I think it's a heavier rain. I remember when all it did was mist - for days - but the weather pattern is changing.
