Someone observes (and I understand it's true) that witchcraft activities have intensified. Any way out?

.
Just because an angry wife tells a jerk teenager she's not making
supper tonight doesn't always mean that she using witchcraft;
that just indicates she's a witchy woman.

She's probably saving those real skills to apply to her husband
when she wants Money, Money, Money, Money !!!

I haven't heard of this where I live. I have friends that are witches (I use the term "friends' loosely here by the way) and have not heard any discussion of Wicca suddenly being on the rise. Of course, it could be and I haven't heard of it. Do you have any evidence of this other than "someone" observes?
