Women deserve more respect but ......

In Australia, there have been a series of sex scandals and rape allegations against politicians, recently.
Women have protested on the street saying "Enough already". Apparently parliament is a boys club and women are treated badly.
We can't hide any more. Women deserve more respect. No more "boys" club.
Having said that I've worked in a number of female dominated workplaces. Men are in minority and are often the target of female abusers. Not physical I admit but psychological. And sometimes treated with contempt if we don't tick all the boxes that our female colleagues expect to be ticked.
Conclusion...give women respect..treat them like human beings. But women don't don't treat this as an opportunity to Lord it over men. Don't bully us either.

Rape is an awful thing. But women are capable of intimidation at least. And their tactics can be quite sneaky. Women can destroy a man's career and reputation too.

Yes that does happen sometimes an accused man is innocent
If he is guilty he has ruined his own reputation and ruined the woman's life.

We have a guy here who lost his job as Attorney General. Because of an unproven rape allegation.
He's 50 now. The rape allegation happened when he was 17 and the girl 16. The allegation only made this year. The woman suicided last year in her late 40s. Some women blame her suicide on the alleged rape. She suffered severe mental illness. That is also being used as post trauma from the alleged rape.

But it hasn't been proved. He could be innocent.
The world isin a mess.

Then some women call men "rape apologists" if they suggest he is innocent until proven guilty.

A basic question that has to be asked is ' Why do you believe Women should be treated as equal to men?'

It is rare that any modern person has a rational answer to this question.

Historically every religion and philosophy with the deception of the Judeo-Christian belief, has regarded women as property or as 2nd class citizens.

The point is, that modern views on equality and the value of human life and the value of women is Christian.

If people want the benefits of Christian views on life they have to also promote Christianity.
