"works"

hi,
where to start i ask me.

i have e few things i want to share, which i think are part of the foundation of believe(s) or religion(s). besides all factual'.

here i go:

i first want to bring 2 things to mind which i foud are very good phrases from the NT.

"he/she who saw it believed it" or in present tense.
"if he /she believed it, then it was so". "

what it comes down to what i want to say or share is my vieuw or opinion upon "works" and how comes. in which 'how' is an important word.
just like: 'through', 'believe' and 'thought'

the last one; thought' i suggest since otherwise or since i amnot president but do believe in the lord(jesus) the blessed king of kings. and by typinjg these letters i am allready somewhat off course...(if u allready get me)

"such" tlk should go under prophecy since there's a prophet or benefit to get from it.

all i wanted to say really (since you all believe) and ask was about 'works'.
and for to see works i allready qouted 2 sentences.

the rest thats left to say is:

i dont know if i was clear, if i wasnt i'll try better. so please tell me. what you think or can reply of what i posted that i think is foundation;)

Hi xounstaer, I am new here myself and I see your English is hard to understand, but I know you are trying to convey your post as well as you can and God bless you for that and I can understand what you are typing. Here is what God has to say about works as all things we do has to be for the glory of the Lord and not of ourselves as we are save by the grace of God and not by works.

Matthew 6:3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
Matthew 6:4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.


Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Our works are that of a humanitarian following in the footsteps of Jesus to know the mind of Christ is to help those who are less fortunate then ourselves by giving them back some dignity to their lives as God supplies their needs through us by the grace he has bestowed upon us through his blessings. When we are out of our comfort zones we need to use that power and authority through grace to go to places we would otherwise be to uncomfortable to travel to or to fearful of our own lives to even think of taking on certain challenges. We need to feed the hungry, clothe the naked and visit those who are in their own prisons as Jesus said we are doing this unto his glory and honor and not of ourselves.


Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.

Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Matthew 25:35 For I was hungry, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Matthew 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Matthew 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
Matthew 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Matthew 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me

The basics of what we are to do as a child of God is to know that the calling from God is to take his word out into the world and to take His word out with love and compassion in our hearts and the works of the Lord are helping those who need our help. Grace is what saves us and the works we do are done unto the glory of the kingdom of God.

i cried a bit reading what you quoted from matthew.
i actually wanted to post a thread saying thx and that i finally found a forum that doesnt reject me'.

i also thought of giving some intel'..
with 'works' i was refering to all what's within acts and the letters of paulus about gifts and talents. but suggesting or trying within to show there's still lots of works' happening, from which some are definately religious/spiritual/christian works', and some are works' which are more scienctifical(like an earthquake). but which do may have effect religiously, if it's part of your religion, to believe everything is done by gods hand..

i had to prevent myself from crying before i said the above, for_the_glory.i thought about adding a crying smiley, but eh ' )

so what i tried to say then was something with the hope for works'/acts' to be caused.(and seen..)

and serious i truly wanted to thank the rulers' and people here who post too. since i reached over 200 posts and am not yet banned. like i was from a numberous of sites without bad behaviour. just once from one forum i even got a pm that i wasnt allowed to post anything that has to do with supernaturality, and that i should seek help if so. ll i am in a closed department here freewillingly and i got a pschiatrist and psychologist and all" ;)
