You see, if you repent of your sin, you have nothing to worry about.

Of course, it’s more fun thinking up complex theologies, since it makes us look very clever and spares us the need to repent of our sin, but in the end, repentance is the only thing that works.

God's Word commands us not to worry (Matthew 6:25-34). Worry is a sin. Peter said we are to cast our care on the Lord because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).
We are to rejoice in the Lord always and be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let our requests made known to God (Phil. 4:4, 6).

Repentance is still hard enough to do. :(

It ain't always easy. I stumble from time to time, but the Lord always leads me back to repentance. Sin always makes me unhappy and it's also dangerous.

Well, it's a work of the Spirit of God in the heart. As Romans 2 says, 'the goodness of God brings thee to repentance'.

You're lucky if sin always makes you unhappy. Because that will bring you back on track. But there's also sin that feels really good and seems to have no negative consequences.

Yeah it definitely does, but the problem is making the prenetance permanent... like how do I permanently become a better person and break the repent-fail--repent-fail-circle?

The good feeling of sin is short-lived. Emptiness, and sometimes a lot of trouble, follows.
