Worshiping Gender
Recently the church I attend has decided to worship women and gender (lgbt) to the exclusion of everything else. People nowadays seem to think that God hasn't dealt with the issue of gender in the bible, but he has!
In Matthew 3:8-10 and Luke 3:7-9 it clearly states that all the religious leaders were worshiping their own gender to the point of failing to see their own sinfulness.
Look at what Matthew 3:10 and Luke 3:9 states that every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. This means that if we all begin to worship our gender (men, women, lgbt) God will judge us severely! Look at today’s churches, governments, individuals, and businesses who worship gender to exact a glorification of the self….God will, and is, judging them by removing his blessing and presence!
Matthew 3:8-10
8 Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. 9 And do not think you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. 10 The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.
Luke 3:7-9
7 John said to the crowds coming out to be baptized by him, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? 8 Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. 9 The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.”
If your life seems adrift and wrought with difficulty then examine your own heart and see if you have fallen into the trap of worshiping gender just like the Pharisees and Sadducees were doing that so enraged Jesus Christ all throughout his ministry. Return to your first love, a belief in Jesus Christ, that brought goodness and love, not vain self glory in worshiping gender.
To gain true peace and assurance in a life everlasting in heaven with God then just believe in the death and resurrection of God’s son - Jesus Christ - God become man. Who came to die for all our sins, especially the sin of gender worship.
