I believe and strongly believe all sins, no matter how big or small, would lead a careless man or woman to the same place called hell or hellfire.

But I also believe that all sins are not of the same magnitude. Compare the sin of murder to that of stealing candy from grandma's kitchen. Hitler vs a child who told a lie.

Read Ezekiel. there God talks about the wicked deeds of His People: "Yet I will show you another even more wicked abomination." the word 'more'. This is my paraphrase.

But, I also tend to believe that the devil himself will kind of influence the punishment. How would he react towards that Christian who tormented him but later ended up in hell? How about the verses that tell us the judgement begins in the church or something? Seems they'd be punished more

If the statement "God loves sinners." is true, then I'm going to accept that I'm the biggest sinner in the world.

It's repeated here and backed by scripture here that all sin is the same in the sight of God, however, in the OT, there were definitely different punishments for different sin, strongly indicating, at least in some ways, they are not the same to God.

I also gather from here, from some people anyway, and I have no scripture to back it up, that there are different levels of hell, cooler parts if we believe people spend an eternity there.

Personally, I haven't yet decided if once one hits that lake of fire, that's it, poof, gone, destroyed or if there is some type of eternity involved as is indicated and they do not actually perish as is indicated as well.

Oxymoron = "that Christian who tormented him but later ended up in hell?"
Eternal life is not conditional life.

You asked, "How about the verses that tell us the judgement begins in the church or something? Seems they'd be punished more." The judgment of the Church is shown in Revelation Chapters Two & Three. When we see Jesus we only receive our rewards according to our spiritual walk.
Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

As for the wicked we read of different judgments of the dead (nonbelievers) also.
Mat 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
Mat 10:15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Different levels of punishment:

(Luk 12:42) And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
(Luk 12:43)Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
(Luk 12:44)Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
(Luk 12:45)But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
(Luk 12:46)The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
(Luk 12:47)And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
(Luk 12:48)But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

From what I've seen, all sin is the same in the sense that any sin, big or small, is sin and will land you in Hell (unless you repent). But the nature of the sin will influence the type and severity of the punishment. There's the lake of fire, individual pits of fire, torture by demons, and individual cells where any kind of torment can be meted out. Punishment tends to be condign, e.g. someone who tormented and murdered little children will themself be tortured by little demons.

Jesus said it shall be far worse that you than it was for Sodom. There are hints to different levels of Hell. The only sins that God judges is knowing something revealed to you, but you violating it. Paul said some are even dead now that they be not condemned with the World.

Mary K Baxter says Jesus took her to hell, in her account she got a chance to speak with people and see different levels of punishment. Like all things of this nature, you decide but I found it at least very, very interesting.
