Jesus would see through the garbage, heal those who needed it, tell some of those who the "test" say are sick that they actually aren't, and then the religious folks with the help of the government would try and kill Him all over again because they aren't able to have covid on the news or as an excuse to tell everyone what to do.

Nobody likes it when Jesus shows up and disempowers their establishment, nobody.

In consideration of taking the vaccine, if you decided follow Jesus example, what do you think Jesus would do in your shoes? Would Jesus take the vaccine?

Now there's an interesting take, and clarifies the position I personally hold on the issue. I doubt He would take it because He would know He wasn't getting sick. There were promises associated with walking in the will of God that stipulated that they would not get sick, but that if they rebelled against Him they would (Deuteronomy 28); granted, they might get the common cold or sniffles, but they would not be succumbing to leprosy or some of the more serious illnesses of the day.

Trouble is, you have a lot of Christians that don't actually walk that close to the Lord like they're supposed to, which makes teaching this view rather complicated. You don't want to make someone feel guilty about taking immunization shots if they are not in a place of walking close enough to God where they can stand in faith against illness, knowing it does not have dominion over them in Christ.

So yes, He likely would not have needed or taken vaccine shots. Just not sure it's a doctrinal position you can force upon all Christians.

Good points.

I think that mandates will by necessity, come with very heavy punishments for those who refuse to obey the mandate. Otherwise, the mandate would have no teeth and be ignored. So...
I think that a Christian (not using the term lightly) would recognize that to mandate the vaccine on someone who has willfully placed their life in the hands of God is nothing less than requiring them to publicly and spiritually deny God. And is that not the fundamental dilemma of the mark of the beast? I don't know if I should expect to receive much response on this, especially from professing Christians who advocate for mandatory vaxxing for that reason. We'll see. I'm interested in their foundation for Jesus placing Himself in the pro-vax camp.

I think the mandates won't have much teeth to them even if they are passed, myself. Depends on the country, and if you are talking about the States, what part of the country. They've tried forcing rules on people who planned on attending LSU games down here, and it flopped like a dead fish in a pan.

Mmmm... going a bit too far, IMO. My faith is so strong in my God that they could jab me three dozen times for all I care. I'm still not going anywhere. I have a job to do.

It's not the mark, but it does demonstrate how much the general populace is willing to submit to the mark, if and when the time comes.
