Writing Lyrics: in need of beautiful biblical passages

I am writing a concept album right now with music that is experimental pop; like the Beatles, Beach Boys, Flaming Lips, Air, Sufjan Stevens, etc.

And I need some beautiful but slightly abstract passages from the Bible that hint at the relationship between God and man.

The album isn't necessarily about Christianity. It IS about exploring one's identity in the universe as well as reminiscing about one's childhood. So, anything that might touch on those themes could work.

If I were looking for lyrics for a song in the Bible I would start with Psalms. That is just my opinion though. Sorry, I can't point out any more specific than that but I don't exactly know what you are looking for.
 
Look all through the Psalms, and or look up your favorite verses, and see if you can come up with something. Or look for a verse that pertains to what is going on today, or something. And ask the Lord to give you something. Sometimes a song from the Bible will come to you when you are not expecting it. God did not give me the gift of song writing even though once and a while I can come up with them. He gave me the gift of drumming.

That is not a good statement, because not everyone has the gift of song writing. There is a guy on my website called stereo7 he is into writing songs ask him what to do.

I was just making a joke about the fact that no one had replied yet. Joking that maybe no one could think of any beautiful Biblical passages. I wasn't trying to be mean or anything.
