This Week's Prayer Guide
May 25 - This week, pray for individual churches and pastors in Wuhan, as well as their families. Pray for them to be strengthened in the Lord and for the presence of Christ to be with them.
May 26 - Brother A asks: “Pray for us to uphold the Great Commission and share the gospel to save souls. ‘Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint’ (Proverbs 29:18 ESV). A church must have a vision. What's the point of a church existing in a community, society, or city without a vision or mission?”
May 27 - Brother R says: “My wife and I are both in full-time ministry at the same church. We often talk about work and ministry more than our relationship. A strong emotional bond between husband and wife is crucial. Please pray for our relationship and our children's growth. Both our children attend public schools. Our older son is a junior in college, and our younger son is in middle school. We pray they can be good witnesses in this ‘Babylonian’ environment, uphold their faith, resist the anti-God aspects of secular education, and embrace the common grace God provides through it.”
May 28 - Pastor O asks for prayer that God will “raise up workers who are after God's own heart. Raise up young people, provide good discipleship training, so that people in the church will rise up to dedicate themselves to serving God.”
May 29 - Pastor H says: “My health hasn't been good in the past year or two, often having various problems. So I also ask God to strengthen my body, give me relatively good health, so I can wholeheartedly serve the church.”
May 30 - Pastor N asks for prayer: “We hope to have a consistent and healthy family altar ministry in our home, with regular fellowship, study… pastoral time is all church matters. Hoping for a healthy, normal family life.”
May 31 - Pastor H says: “Only by being led and filled by the Holy Spirit can we be motivated and enabled. Because the work of the gospel is not only by word of mouth: we ourselves are a testimony of the gospel. So our lives must also be built up in this process.” Pray for Christians in Wuhan to live lives that reflect Christ!
