Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost.

God compelled us to come to Him, for Him to teach us HIs fear.

If any man desired life, to love many days of life ( to see good in eternal life) they keep their tongue from evil, their lips to speak no guile. They must depart from evil, to do good, seeking peace, pursuing after it.

God has His eyes on those righteous ( who believe in the teaching of Gods fear) and God hears their cry, but His face is against those who do evil, to cut them off from eternal life.

Christ came teaching this far of the Lord and to pursue after His peace He gives us. Capernaum remained exalted to heaven. Christ spoke how Capernaum ( and all exalted) shall be brought down to hell.

Jesus shows how all things of the Father ( His fear) are delivered to Him by God, and the Father knows HIs Son, the same as the Son knows the Father.

The Father is revealed by the Son, for all who are heavy laden, to seek the rest of Christ.

To know that eternal rest, is to learn of the Son, meek and lowly in heart.

Psalm 34:11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

Matthew 11:23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

Matthew 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Psalm 34 continues. The righteous cry to God, the Lord hears and delivers. The Lord is near to those of a broken heart, of a contrite ) low) spirit, they have many afflictions, and the Lord delivers them out of them all.

Then the message is to be of that one mind, to have compassion, to love, to be pitiful, courteous, not returning evil for evil, but the opposite to that, which is what we were called to, to inherit the blessing. ( to love many days/ eternally)

For he that will love life ( eternal life) to see good days, refrains their tongue from evil, that his lips speak no guile, they hate evil, they do good, they seek peace ( the peace that Christ gives) they ensue it. ( pursue after it.) as the eyes of the Lord are over those righteous ( believers in Jesus Christs Word.) the Lords ears were opened to their prayer ( the righteous cry and the Lord hears them and delivers them out of all their troubles.)

Now they are fortunate who suffer for that righteousness sake, to not be troubled ( the Lord delivers them out of all their troubles.)

To sanctify ( make Holy) the Lord God in your hearts, being ready to give an answer to every man asking the hope that in in you, answering with meekness and fear. ( as the meek Lord taught us HIs fear.)

Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

1 Peter 3:8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

1 Peter 3:10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

1 Peter 3:14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

God desired not sacrifice, as He did not delight in burnt offerings.

But the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart. ( these hings God does not despise, but He despises all other offerings.)

In the law Israel had a shadow ( but never gave the correct sacrifices.) but could never with those sacrifices make themselves perfect.

if the worshippers had become perfect, ( by their sacrificial offerings) their offerings would have ceased to be offered, as once purged ( Israel offered sacrifice for sin) they would have no more conscience of sins. But they returned yearly to remember their sin again, as the blood of bulls and goats could never take away sin. ( purge eternally their conscience.)

Therefore Christ comes into the world, declaring how God did not require sacrifice and offering, ( that requires repeating forever yearly.) But God prepared Himself a body. ( an offering for sins that would be for ever.)

God speaking to us in these last days by His Son, appointed to be heir of all things ( He is the Son of God.) made the worlds through Jesus Christ, Christ is in the express image of the person of God, upholding all things by the Word of the power of Christ, Christ Himself purged our sins, then sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on High.

In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sins, God had no pleasure. Then Christ said lo, He comes to do the will of the God. ( for God to have the pleasure of the Lord.)

Isaiah 53, records how it pleased the Lord to bruise ( the Son.) to put Him to grief, and that Christ made His soul an offering for sin, to prolong the days of His seed, ( HIs children of the Spirit.) this is the pleasure of the Lord prospering in His hand. ( the hand of the Son f God, sacrificing for the pleasure of the Lord.)

Malachi 1, shows how the Lord had no pleasure any more in those sacrifices of Israel, to never more accept an offering at the hands of the priests, for the people. From that time, the Lords name ( through Christs light to the Gentiles.) made His name great among the Gentiles, ( through the sacrifice of the soul of Christ, the pleasure of the Lord in HIs hands, offered to the Lord, of a pure offering.)

Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin God wanted not., He had no pleasure in them; as they are only offered by the law; ( which is not of faith. Galatians 3:12.)

Then Christ comes to do the will, Of God. Christ takes away the first, ( covenant in the law, that is not of faith.) to establish the second covenant ( which is of faith.)

By that will ( of God) we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. ( as it is of faith, and not the repeated offerings in the law, which are not of faith, as they are imperfect.)

Psalm 51:16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

Isaiah 53:10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

Malachi 1:10 Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the Lord of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the Lord of hosts.

Hebrews 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

Hebrews 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

Hebrews 10:8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

God wanted to take the stumblingblock ( the law which is not of faith. Galatians 3:12.) out of the way of Israel. God who is Holy, high and lofty, dwells on high, the Holy place ( in Heaven) with him that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble ( to give through Christs sacrifice, a new Spirit and heart.)

God was angry against Israel for covetousness, and for going on forwardly in their ways. God saw their ways, and healed them, to lead them also, restoring comforts to them and to their mourners. ( the heavy burdened who Christ calls.)

God created the fruit of the lips ( from Christ) to give peace, to him that is far off and to him that is near, to heal us. ( through Christs offering of the pleasure of the Lord.)

But the wicked are like the troubled sea. ( God delivers the righteous who cry to the Lord, out of all their troubles.) and the wicked cannot rest. ( cannot believe in the rest of Christ for ever.) and there is then no peace ( of God) to the wicked.

The wicked in hardened hearts ( required is a broken contrite heart and spirit, sacrificed to God) have no peace. ( of Jesus Christ.)

Isaiah 57:14 And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.
15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
16 For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.
17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.
18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

Isaiah 57:19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him.

Isaiah 57:20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

John 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

As Christ is without guile in His mouth ( rejected of men to offer the sacrifice of His soul.) we lay aside all malice and all guile and hypocrisies and envies and evil speaking, to desire the Word, to grow tasting the graciousness of the Lord.

Coming to Christ the living stone, disallowed of men, but chosen of God, as lively stones,to offer up Spiritual sacrifices ( believing in the Spiritual sacrifice of Christ.) acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. ( the Spiritual offering of Christ was the pleasure of the Lord.)

Christ is elect, precious to those who believe, not the disobedient who disallowed Him, to who He is a stone of stumbling and a rock of offence, ( to those who follow law, and not after faith.) who stumble at the Word ( of faith) as they were appointed. ( Christ was appointed heir of all things Hebrews 1:2.)

We are called to that suffering of Christ ( to believe in His offering and purging by Himself.) who left us His example and steps, who did no sin and no guile was found in His mouth, who reviled not again and when He suffered He threatened not, committing Himself to Him who judges righteously.

Christ Himself bare our sins in His own body on the tree, on the cross,, for us to be dead to sins, to live unto righteousness, healed by the stripes of Christ. ( God saw our ways and healed us, the wicked go on in covetousness.)

God said he would heal Israel and lead them, we were as sheep going astray, now we returned unto the Bishop and Shepherd of our souls. ( Christ offered His soul for our sins.)

1 Peter 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

1 Peter 2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

1 Peter 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

God made the heaven and the earth, all things through Jesus Christ. Where is His rest, it is where God looks to, him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, trembling at the Word of God.

The stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears ( the wicked who have no peace or healing of Christ.) always resist the Holy Ghost.

Isaiah 66: 1 Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Acts 7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
50 Hath not my hand made all these things?
51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

God would gather those who are sorrowful to the solemn assembly.

To gather those who were driven out, to get them praise and fame in every land where they had been put to shame.

God took His staff Beauty, cutting it in two, to break His covenant He had made with the people, God broke His staff Beauty, and the poor of the flock know it was the Word, of the Lord.

We knew His reproach and shame, His dishonour, reproach broke His heart ( Christ, the staff Beauty broken to break the covenant God had made with Israel.)

Christ was full of heaviness, and looked for some to take pity, but there was none, no comforters were found. ( Christ sends the comforter to us, to abide with us for ever. John 14:16.)

Now we do not boast against the branches. ( do not boast against Israel who had their covenant broken.)

But if you do boast, you have no root, as Israel ( the branches) were broken off ( from their covenant with God, by Gods staff Beauty being broken for us) for us to be grafted in.

Israel was broken off because of unbelief, and we stand by faith, to not be highminded, but to fear.

Zechariah 3:17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
18 I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden.
19 Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.

Zechariah 11:10 And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.
11 And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the Lord.

Psalm 69:19 Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.
20 Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
21 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

Romans 11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

Why does nobody agree nor disagree with these threads on their theology forum ?

Not only because the message of broken heart of the Messiah is not for them they instead are those coveteous, they are the boasters, they are the proud, they are truve breakers ( they show they do not believe in Christ broken to make the new covenant) they are the heady, they are the highminded.

Instead of believing in the pleasure of the Lord prospering in the hand of Christ, laying His life down for us, being meek and lowly, they are lovers of pleasures.

2 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

God compelled us to come to Him, for Him to teach us HIs fear.

I prefer, That God so Loved the world, that he sent his only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

Those who believed in him he ( God ) gave the Right to become children of God.
For God demonstrates his own love for us in this, while we were sinners Christ died for us.

Christ demonstrated how those who kill our body are unable to kill the soul. ( Christ gave His body and soul an offering for us because His soul is unable to be destroyed for us to believer in Him being eternal life. Isaiah 53:10. John 17:3.)

Then we are delivered from fearing death, from fearing all man can do to us ( to kill you, despise you.) to now only learn the fear of the Lord, through that deliverance from all other fears, by Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

Matthew 10:24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Matthew 10:30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

It is belief in Christ to know the difference between who to fear.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Christ taught all things for us to observe of Him.

Sanctifying is first Jesus Christ sanctifying Himself for our sakes, to sanctify men through the truth.

We stand by that faith, ( of Jesus Christs love laying His life down for us.) to deliver men from fear of death, to now fear God.

Israel fell through none of this belief in God ( as all fall) because we are to not be high minded ( resisters of the Holy Ghost.) but unlike Israels stiffnecked example, we are TO FEAR

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

John 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

Romans 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

Exodus 32:9 And the Lord said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:

Acts 7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

If people do not fear God, they cannot believe in the life of Jesus Christ.

That is your opinion, talk to Christians, you will find there is no simple formula abot how they came to be Christian, some through fear of hell, others through a love for Jesus, others because of the life of Christians.

Is fear to be the only emotion can not fear also mean awe.

Jn 3:3 Jesus answered, and said to him: Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

2 pet 1:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Yes it is my opinion that the end of the world testimonies show men are without fear ( of God) and then are without fruit.

Pity, as if they saw the fire they are in, they would be saved with that fear, ( of God.) for our God is a consuming fire.

Hebrews 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

Jude 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Those who sin ( sin is unbelief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.) are rebuked before all, that others may fear ( fear God.)

Their sins remain open ( openly done and unrepented.) and will go to the ( fearsome) judgement of God.

Likewise the good works of others ( who feared God) are manifested beforehand, and the otherwise ( who are without fear) cannot be hid. ( as this testimony is told in all the world for a witness against them, then the end comes. The stiff necked cant resist anything any more, although they tried. Matthew 24:14)

1 Timothy 5:20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

1 Timothy 5:24 Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.
25 Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.

Except a man is born again of water and Spirit, they cant enter the Kingdom of God.

That gives clear distinction between those of the flesh and those of the Spirit.

If any man does not have the Spirit of Christ, they are none of His.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

That is why the Spirit of the Lord rests on Jesus our Messiah, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and ( the Spirit.) of the fear of the Lord.

That Spirit ( of the fear of the Lord.) makes Him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord.

The wicked is slain with the rod of His mouth, as Christ ( through and in the fear of the Lord.) through the Spirit righteously judges for the poor, reproving with equity for the meek of the earth, so they fear the name of the Lord ( Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour) as our redeemer came to Zion, unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob.

Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.
20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord.
