Um okay(coughs)Hi folks. My name is Steve, and I'm a Christaholic. Just wanted to stop in here and introduce myself. I've been growing in Christ for about a year now, after spending several years in self imposed stagnation. The desire to fellowship more and more with other Christians is further evidence to me in my progressive growth, and after spending years on secular forums gaining nothing but a further sense of emptiness, I am excited to find a community online that is focused on the most meaningful topic of discussion there is,Jesus Christ. I look forward to meeting you all in the discussion forums and maybe contribute to the site in a meaningful way. If anyone has any questions for me, about me, or about anyone or anything else, I'm happy to answer them as best I can, but maybe the questions about other people would better directed to those individuals, as my answers would more than likely be wrong. :D
Oh, and I'm not that great of a typist, so please excuse the typos that will inevitably be found in my posts.(this one alone took 15 minutes to edit out the errors, cause I want to make a good first imerssion)

case in point. I was so close, too. :smt011

Hey carolinasteve, your first imerrsion is all right by me! :-D Are you calling yourself 'carolinasteve' because you are from one of the Carolina's? I ask because I lived in North Carolina for about 8 months 20 years ago. I moved there in January, and loved living there right up to summer. Then when they turned on the sauna and forgot to turn it off, I scuttled back home to the West where one can be outside in 90 degree weather without having heat stroke!

Thanks for the welcome guys. Guess I'm still wet behind the ears from my baptism. :-D
Yep, Handy, I'm in North Carolina just east of Charlotte. The weather hasn't changed since you were heare last, except for we don't get snow here anymore. I think since it has gotten so doggone crowded around here that all the exhaust and asphalt this side of I-85 just keeps too much pressure in the atmosphere for snow. Ice we get, snow-no mo.
