Focus has to be on Christ for if we become unfocused we will be led astray.

I'm a lonely sojourner in a land that use to be, but is no more to me.
I am fearful of my predators, but protected by my Lord.
Shall I speak with words of kindness to the faces I never see or walk in tolerance of the ignorance of those who be.
I know who I am and that's all I need as the rest of this world in ignorance will be.
When the moon gives up it's light and the days grow dark then my Savior will rescue this sojourning Lark.

I think the reason I love this song is for the following reasons.

I fix my eyes upon the cross, reaching out with all I've got.
Some say give 100% to God. What if your damaged, what if you haven't 100% got to give. You haven't got 100%
All we can do is look at the cross and give what we have.

I'm letting go to start again, I need your love that's why I'm here. I haven't got 100%. So while I'm here I will give it my all.

for_his_glory you are so right, the focus is in Christ.

Lord I beleive you rose again, so I don't beleive this is the end. You never fail you have a plan, my life you hold with within your hands.

If we beleive that Jesus died and rose again, we will know that though we fail he never does, our life is in his hands. Let's give him what we have.

When we realise that we have nothing to give or all we have is 25% or 90% and that Jesus just wants us to come as we are then we realise.

That his grace and mercy found us and the blood of Jesus is greater than it all, his blood that accepts us as we are and he will stretch our wings so we can fly.

If all we have is 50% that will increase as we realise his grace and mercy found us.
As we realise that God loves us as much as Jesus, as we realise we need to let go and start again.

Jesus you are greater than it all.

Shoot me down if I'm wrong but I do feel that our biggest predators can be those within the church. My experience has taught me that and my experience has led me to minister to the wounded and not shoot them dead.

I think sheep attract wolves and there are tares growing among the wheat, but be careful to love Jesus' bride and not cast her aside. Be as faithful to her as He is to you...and me. (Wrg, I am not veiling an accusation; I do not think I have seen you "cast her aside." I just know in pain some have done so and am encouraging you to be on your guard against letting the wolves and tares cause you to be harsh toward the Church, the Body of Christ.)
