When the 11th Air Assault went to Watertown for field exercises I was right at home. You folks spoke so much like me I thought I must be in Texas. When I visited NY, NY I was floored by the open prostitution, funny accents and super sonic speech, not at all like Upstate New York, a violently different nation inside the city. I've been wrong more than I care to admit but if you are anything like the lasses in Watertown, except for the frigid Lake Effect Snow you would think youself at home in Texas.

I'm not too far from Watertown. In fact, when I was in HS we used to play against them in soccer. I'm glad you felt like this place was just like Texas. I always wondered that about my little neck of the woods. We do have quite a Conservative/Bible belt up here. Maybe it's because it's more rural. I know quite a few ppl up here even hang the dixie flag.
Oh, today someone asked me where I was from- and I'm like, "Right here, why?" and they noticed I had a southern drawl. :biggrin2
