Was Adam imparted free will from the beginning of Creation?

This may come across as if God is not causing His will to be carried out if we don't consciously decide (choose according to our will) to do it. Adam chose to listen to Eve. He chose to eat of the tree of G&E. Adam didn't choose to be created. He didn't design the tree of G&E then create it. He did not arrange for Satan to be introduced to the garden. It seems some things Adam decided and other things were beyond his control to decide on. But I would say that in all these things and beyond, God's will is being carried out according to His script.

If we don't do as He commands, His will is not being done !

Certainly.
Fortunately, we have the ability to carry out our will, especially if it marches God's will.

His script includes some people choosing to obey Him, even unto death.

When pharoah disobeyed Gods command to let His People go, was Gods will being done ? Was it Gods will for him to disobey ?

Wouldn't that truth be the truth Jesus said could make you free from service to sin ? (John 8:32-34)

Yes, I have obeyed Jesus Christ's OT "picture" of the NT's separation from the wickedness of my past.
My old body was destroyed, (Rom 6:6) at it's "immersion" into Christ and into His death and burial. (Rom 6:3-7)
"And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts." (Gal 5:24)
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2 Cor 5:17)
Those parts of me that acted out my old mind's lusts are gone.

He wasn't being literal. If one wanted to actually disable their body from sinning they might have to actually destroy themselves because the source of the sin isn't just in the deed itself, but in the heart.

28But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Now should we actually rip our heart out of our chest, or more figuratively speaking, lobotomize ourselves from having bad thoughts? Of course not. That is not the point he was making.

Yes, Adam appears to be created with the ability to choose certain things within a certain God ordained scope but not beyond. Adam had the choice to keep eating unto eternal life. And yes he had the choice to eat (of another tree) unto death. The ability to choose was even given to Satan, but not absolute freedom to do what he wanted. His Creator he was having a conversation with said he can get involved with Job but set boundaries. Satan willed to destroy Job but couldn't as God's will was to preserve Job's life. Both Satan and God did not have absolute free will just as both were not sovereign. It appears that only One has complete freedom to choose to do everything they desire and the unlimited ability to carry it out.

No...you are deceived/ You fail God everyday. You are not perfect before God everyday.
