Hi ChristianForums Community,

I am a seeker for the Restoration of Elohim's/God's Inheritance, that Elohim/God has given the Devil/Enemy permission to lay totally desolate/ruined.

Jude 3 Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

3 Beloved, all diligence using to write to you concerning the common salvation, I had necessity to write to you, exhorting to agonize for the faith once delivered to the saints,

Jude 3 King James Version (KJV)

3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Yes, as Jude wrote we are to contend for our faith in that which has already been written of what Christ has already taught. We have to guard ourselves against all the false doctrines that have infiltrated many pulpits as the spirit of Jezebel runs rampant.

God spoke this warning to two Church's in Revelations. One being the Church at Ephesus and the Church at Pergamos.

The Nicolaitans were a Gentile heretic sect that converted over to Judaism to dominate others with their heretic teachings. Irenaeus, Hippolytus, Epiphanius, and Theodoret mentioned this group, and stated that the deacon Nicolas was the author of the heresy and the sect. The Nicolaitanes are the followers of that Nicolas who was one of the seven first ordained to the diaconate by the apostles in AD 33, Acts 6:5. They lead lives of unrestrained indulgence as in eating things offered to idols. The teaching of the Nicolaitans was to dominate the people leading them astray from that of what Jesus taught and this goes against the teachings of Jesus, Matthew 20:25-28.

Rev 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

Rev 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

Act 6:5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

Hi for_his_glory,

Jezebel is daughter of Ethbaal and she slayed the Prophets of Yahweh/Jehovah.

1 Kings 16:31 Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

31 And it cometh to pass -- hath it been light his walking in the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat? -- then he taketh a wife, Jezebel daughter of Ethbaal, king of the Zidonians, and goeth and serveth Baal, and boweth himself to it,

What are the deeds/works of the Nicolaitanes?

Revelation 2 King James Version (KJV)

2 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

When I speak of Jezebel I'm speaking of the spirit of Jezebel as in the Church in Thyatira in Revelation 2:20-22 that runs rampant in many churches today that do not teach sound doctrine which is the doctrine of Christ.

Revelation 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

The Nicolaitans were a Gentile heretic sect that converted over to Judaism to dominate others with their heretic teachings that came against what Jesus taught and what we read and learn of Christ's teachings in the scriptures. Jesus warned us of false prophets that will come and even are here in the world today that teach a deceptive word of Christ.

Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Further study and understanding of the Spirit of Jezebel is in the book of Kings.

1 Kings 21:25-26 Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

25 surely there hath none been like Ahab, who sold himself to do the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, whom Jezebel his wife hath moved,

26 and he doth very abominably to go after the idols, according to all that the Amorite did whom Jehovah dispossessed from the presence of the sons of Israel.'

Is that description that you provided of the Nicolaitanes in Scripture?

Just out of curiosity why do you call it agonizing over scripture or did you mean to use another word?
Every word written is with purpose. Yes! I meant Agonise/Contend/Strive/Struggle over Scripture, as Scripture describes our precious Faith.

Jude 3 Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

3 Beloved, all diligence using to write to you concerning the common salvation, I had necessity to write to you, exhorting to agonize for the faith once delivered to the saints,

Acts 17:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Yes this is the description also mentioned in Revelations 2:1-7 and 2:18-28.
What do you mean by Judaism? If Elohim's/God's Chosen People do not dominate/conquer the Gentiles, will not the Gentiles dominate/conquer Chosen People and, thereby, Israel cease from being a Nation?

Deuteronomy 28:13 King James Version (KJV)

13 And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

Where did I mention anything about Judaism?
There is no domination in God's grace between Jews and Gentiles as it is freely given to the Jews first and then the Gentiles as all come to God by faith in Christ Jesus who was God's plan of salvation before the foundation of the world who know sits at the right hand of God making intercession for all who hear God calling them to come back to Him.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Where you mentioned Judaism:

What do you mean by Judaism?

This question is concerning the relationship between Elohim's/ God's Chosen People and those Gentiles that Worship the Devil:

If Elohim's/God's Chosen People do not dominate/conquer the Gentiles, will not the Gentiles dominate/conquer Chosen People and, thereby, Israel cease from being a Nation?

1 Peter 5:8 King James Version (KJV)

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

We totally reject extra-Biblical teaching. We are Holy Scripture Only.

Jew/Jehudi/Judah is one of the Twelve Tribes of Israel. Who is a Jew?

The birth of Judah/Jew:

Genesis 29:35 King James Version (KJV)

35 And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the Lord: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing.

First mention of the word Jew in Scripture:

2 Kings 16:6 King James Version (KJV)

6 At that time Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath to Syria, and drave the Jews from Elath: and the Syrians came to Elath, and dwelt there unto this day.

You are not understanding what I am saying. First you need to understand the Nicolaitans were Gentiles that taught against the word of God, but they decided to try and become part of Israel in order to spread their heresies as they were only in the flesh and not part of Abraham's seed. In other words they were false prophets.

Romans 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

To support your words concerning the Nicolaitanes you appealed to extra-Biblical authorities.

Quote:

None of the above quote is in Scripture. These are the only two verses in Revelation 2 explicitly about Nicolaitanes:

Revelation 2:6 King James Version (KJV)

6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.

Revelation 2:15 King James Version (KJV)

15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.

They are mentioned in scripture and it's up to us to know who they are and why Jesus gave us warning against them so we will not be deceived by their false teachings. It takes studying scripture, history and culture of Biblical era to understand the teachings of Christ.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits.

Learn who the enemy are that Satan works through to try and devour us.
