You have to put vs. 7 with vs. 8 in order to know who the filthy dreamers are as this is speaking about those in Sodom and Gomorrah going after strange flesh.

Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. 8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

What we judge in this world are the fruits that are displayed by others whether they be of God that are good fruits or the evil fruits of this world.

Who are the "we" you mention here?

The scriptures and a sincere heart does not get us the Holy Spirit. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God, Romans 10:12-17.
