You must stay in prayer and apply the Blood Of Jesus covering your life, your family, your marriage, your house, your job, your sickness / disease, your bills, your money, your sins, your friends, your protection, your doctors, and any other thing(s) you can think of. No weapon formed against you will not prosper.

I don't understand the subject line, i'm a bit perplexed. It should be the other way around with the word should. 'Should a non christian invite a christian'. The answer is yes if you know a born again christian around town, they can bless the house and say a prayer in Jesus Christ name, Amen.

So if I'm understanding correctly (I'm having some trouble deciphering your punctuation) you are considering having a non-Christian check to see if a house in haunted? If so, I guess I would have to wonder why you would want to do that. If you believe there may be some type of demonic influence in a house, why wouldn't you either ask God to remove the demons yourself, or if you don't feel confident in doing this yourself, at least ask for the help of another Christian who can seek God's power in doing this. Who's power is a non-Christian going to tap into to accomplish anything in a situation like this?

I don't believe that a house can be haunted. Satan is the master of lies and that's one of the many he has people believing in. Demons cannot materialise and dematerialise at will. If they could they would be causing havoc in doing so the world over. There are instances in the Bible of people being demon possessed but not houses or the likes. There is a good article in the Creation magazine on ghosts which has many sound and biblical answers to things such as this. You could check it out online at their website and punch in that question or "ghosts" into their search engine. Christians have nothing to fear about things such as that.
My question would be why would they. It makes no sense, especially if they are of faith in Christ and believe in the promises of God. I live in an old remodeled farm house that is over 150 years old if not more and a few have even died in this house. The house has many noises and even sounds like my name is being called out at times, but all it is is the house settling all the time and the imagination can conjour up all sorts of things, especially when you are alone and it's quiet. What good would it do to call one in that has no faith as even demons can jump into them, but never a child of God. I know demons are real and Satan can cause them to do all sorts of things, but as far as a Christian is concerned we have the blood of Jesus to plead over that which appears to be evil in our presence.

thanks all.its just a case of desperation.my wife has just being diagnosed with cancer .i was broken.i did not suggest the invite rather my other family members .i was desperate.guess i need forgiving from he lord for almost lack of faith and being disobedience . GOD bless all of you for responding.

Personally, I thought your question was a good one which I will bet a lot of other Christians have asked themselves at one time or another too!

I apologize for this persons response, it seems that some people are pretending to be Christians and hiding in plain sight......

My personal answer is pray first for discernment to GOD the heavenly father in the name of JESUS CHRIST and wait for some answer. Study the word of GOD of course and if there is any unexplained activity that would suggest evil spirits like; objects moving without physical interaction, seeing darkened images or ghost like figures, unnatural sounds, ominous feelings, etc than I certainly encourage taking action. Always remember that when two or more are gathered in his name, then he will be there in accordance with scriptures, soo.......inviting another true and devout Christian to your home for deliverance and sanctification is highly advised.
Another important factor is removing anything occultish.......séance and shamanistic materials or books, witchcraft material, "W" boards, unholy artifacts and sprinkle your home with a good old fashioned cleaning too. In general, yes be concerned about who you allow into your home as inviting 'unholy practioners' in could cause even more problems then there already might be.

Didn't Satan go between heaven and Earth in heaven? Couldn't they likewise make themselves known and unknown to the physical world? I believe demons can take form as ghosts and even beings like aliens.
There's an organization trying that says calling the name of Jesus Christ can put an end to "alien abduction" experiences http://www.alienresistance.org/ce4.htm
Another thing to check out is "Age of Deciet" on YouTube about Fallen angels. It's about 2+ hours long, but it talks about how demons can take deceptive form.

I mean, really. You can ask a non-christian to determine this. But you shouldn't, for there is warning against it.
If you're going to ask a non-christian to determine the spirits, you should ask a construction worker to take your blood for a test.

Where in the Bible are there examples of demons materialising to scare people? They cant do it, their spirits. They cant take the form of anything, that's why they possessed people. When Jesus cast them out there wasn't a human and a demon standing there! The Bible contains no examples of such. All examples of everything we need to know concerning spiritual matters are in Gods Word. If they are not in the Word then all notions and explanations are from men's minds only. Satan can appear as an angel of light through the person he controls, not physically himself. There's a lot of things Satan and demons can do spiritually but physically materialising isn't one of them. What church backs that video on you tube?

I think it's pretty clear that Satan and his demons can take form to deceive the world with things such as superpowers and being Gods; like in Genesis 3 and also in the Torah when the LORD warned against psychics, witches, mediums, and the such; ghosts, aliens, strange creatures, and the like.

Witches, mediums etc deal with spirits. That's nothing taking a form like a ghost or alien. Why freak out new Christians or others making them think a demon can materialise in front of them or become an alien or whatever when they cant.
Ephesians 6 vs 11 to 17 tell us what we deal with and how to deal with it.
Its like people using the "blood of Jesus" to cover their houses, cars and whatever else they think they should protect with it. In Ephesians that's not part of our armoury. We are not told to do that anywhere. If it was it would be in Ephesians as part of it. All they can do is pretty limited really, hit us with darts. But if one is not aware or watchful those darts can do serious spiritual damage. Cause others to do harm physically and so on.

Why hide the truth from Christians, building them up like Christianity is some sort of masonic religion or JWs building them up on one thing and telling them something different later? All a person needs to know is that there's nothing to fear about them when you are alive in Christ (Matthew 10:28). Satan and his demons are clearly at work in the world, manifesting themselves in different ways.
"And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed." Exodus 3:2
If an Angel of God can manifest themselves as fire under God's command, a fallen angel will manifest themselves to confuse humans to deceive them.
Just as the verse you posted says posted "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
Why would a doctor freak their patients out telling them that their illness can become deadly? It's not scare tactics. It's truth, and you tell them how to take action against it.
And the action against demons is trusting in Christ alone.
James 2:19 says that the Demons shudder at the thought of God.
Likewise, just because a video is on YouTube about demons doesn't automatically make it a lie either.
I could say some details about the author are that he believes Christ is our only hope and that we should have faith in him, he's against things such as gnosticism, and he's done a lot of research using the scriptures as his foundation.
