You can't reverse polarity...diodes and transisters that don't fry from that will stop the current.

And the electrons flow from one molecule to the next... nothing changes it's molecular composition.
When thinking of current and voltage think of a water hose... voltage is the pressure and current is the width.
But a current capable conductor is needed.

And where current flows from the most negative to the most positive 10 amps may go out but resistance eats up the amps. This can be in either inductive resistance or capacitive resistance or just plain heat and/or light. But not necessarily light.

Just because it wants to flow there doesn't mean that it will make it. Some does. But not all. But all 10 amps will be accounted for in some fashion.

We used to take tungsten light bulbs and wire them in series till we got the 277 volts down to 120. Then we would wire them in parallel or a plug for temporary lights and power. Can't do this anymore... everything has gone to CFLs and LED.

Cars ,not all ecus have protection.in fact the only diodes on them are few .the zener diode for the ac clutch, that's it.usually

I will notice those on component diagrams. I have seen zener diodes on light circuits.

I waa told not to reverse polarity on a car with a computer. You can't run them without a battery if you jump them as the full field of the alternator will fry the ecu.the ecm sees that and kills the car.

I haven't seen a car made since the 2000 that doesn't have a computer.
And that battery cleans the juice from your alternators. Makes it clean signal once again.

Good point, and Edward had one too. However, if the trinity is exactly the same then why did the pastor use all three of those names separately when he baptized me last weekend? Besides, how can Jesus be referred as the Father and Son at the same time? Don't get me wrong, they both have definitely earned the title as Lord, but although they are one in the same, I still don't understand how they are exactly the same when even Jesus Himself prayed and called Him Father.

It seems like a lot of people get confused about this. I thought it was obvious myself, just think of them as a family. There's a Father, a Son, and a Holy Spirit.

Suppose your friend is named Mr Smith. He has a son and a wife. They are all smith's, they are one. If somebody attacks the son, well then they have the mom & dad to deal with too, lol. See what I mean?

The Son doesn't do anything except what He hears the Father say or sees Him do.
Does that make sense?

What about the graphic lower down in the article? I know it was in latin, but it is a rather good visual representation of the relationship. Also, look up the athanasian creed. It also has the best description I have found of the trinity within a creed.

Not to get all technical here, and I do like that Creed, but four words there are cited as being responsible for the first church split we know of specifically over the way they depict the relationship between the three Persons of the Trinity.

I will point out that by the time this church split took place in 1054, the two factions had been long separated so it was more of a formality, and they were looking for something to pin it on.

This all shows that it's not so simple, and we really need to be solid in the basics of the NT. As we confront what we don't know and accept that we don't know it, we grow in humility. This both brings us closer to God and makes us hungry for more ...

Yes but we're talking about reversed polarity, a zener diode prevents voltage signal from the clutch as a motors aND coils once turned on ,motor,or a coil, back feed,to the ecm.

With cfl,led lights on an ac circuit it must be rectified abd dropped to the proper voltage. That's why you probably dint get a current after them as its using it all.

My point is this transistors, diodes, are semiconductors. A transistor can be switch one by ground or by power the middle leg.if you reverse polarity, the ground is no hot,abd the two others are ground abd the circuot wont complete as the computer is the live .cars use pnp,not npn, transistors usually.

I understand rectified power from the.alternator to the battery

This is quite common for low voltage systems. Just like a low voltage 9 volt battery won't elecrocute your skin
You guys are way over my head but it's common to troubleshoot sound problems by putting the 9 volt battery on your tongue; if the battery isn't the problem you find out in a hurry.

I don't know if your statement here contradicts that, but just to be sure

12 Volts isn't enough pressure ,120v volts with 1 amp is 120.watts 12volts takes 10amps to produce that same power. The ohms of your body reduces the amount of voltage in,thus higher voltage is nreded.car ignition uses 100kv,yes 100000 volts to make that spark but at .0001 amps it's not enough to hurt .but will make a presence felt. Tasers work in that range

and from the Son. There's a theological term for that phrase. It doesn't make sense that the Holy Spirit emanates from the Father and from the Son because that creates a picture of Father and Son having a baby, which of course isn't what happened and the Holy Spirit is eternal, without beginning, just like the Father and Son.

I don't have a problem with the verbiage either way; RC uses that wording, Orthodox rejects it. But by the time this was cited as a cause for the great schism, the Roman empire had hopelessly been split between east and west, and the Church along with it.

(Now April, ignore this! Lol)

Yes and no. Yes it makes sense because of the fact that if anybody either attacks or insults my family that they will have me to deal with, but no because everybody plays a different part in our family. I am not the mother of our family I am the daughter of my parents, sister to my brother, and aunt to my niece. I'm not all that sure a hundred percent what the holy spirit is for in the trinity except for the fact that I have felt it more often than not since I got baptized and thankfully it has been leading me closer to the Lord. I do happen to know though that the Father is the creator of all things and I'm pretty sure that Jesus is His Son He created Him and Jesus didn't create Himself like God did. Sure, not in the way that we reproduce but still. Maybe there really is no right or wrong answer here though since we all do tend to look at things differently when it comes to things like this.

Oh don't worry I have lol since I don't understand a bit of it.

Create - to make something out of nothing. Made - to make something from something else. I generally try to refrain from using the word "create" when describing something I built, or made. IMHO using that word is an attempt to put ourselves at the same level of God. Not possible.
So, if God, took some clay, which He had created, and made a man, with His own hands.... while there were no other men or humans.... did He "make" Adam or "create" Adam?

In all kindness, IMO, at this point in time... when God was creating the universe, and since He made all things and everything that was ever made that was made... was created by Him... At the very beginning of time....

I would suggest that "create" and "made" are the same thing... but that's just me.

Nope, not even close. Does an architect erect a skyscraper? Does a carpenter draw up blueprints?

The purpose is to differentiate what God can do and what men can do. Men cannot create anything, as they are unable to make something out of nothing. God is able to create because He is all powerful.

And, yes, God is able to make something else out of what He has already created.

The confusion is that many people think that a theory is just an informed guess. In reality, it's an idea or group of ideas that have been repeatedly confirmed by evidence.

When many people say "theory", they are really talking about "hypothesis." A hypothesis becomes a theory only after it has been repeatedly confirmed by evidence.

Yep. Imperfect creatures can make or design. Only God truly creates. And yes, He can create new things from previously created things.

The way I see it, this is highly debatable at this point, though prolly too far off topic for this thread, and deserves it's own thread...but think about it, Jesus said...it is finished...so at that point we were back into the graces of God just as it was in the garden of Eden before the fall...man created i God's own image and likeness...and not fallen? All these things that Jesus did we shall do and more?!

Yeah Brother, a good case can be made for that, we do have creative power within us.

I better stop there to not derail this thread, but your post struck me in a way that said huh-uh and I had to say something.

Blessings Brother.

What does this have to do with whether or not man is able to create anything?
