the one for my area just ended. it means that a tornado is a distinct possibility. i think it goes...advisory...then watch...then warning.

no tornado here, Praise God! :) i stayed in the bathroom till it was over. technology and such...mah phone goes crazy insane in the membrane with noises, etc. when a warning comes thru.
 
Yeah....I've learned how to turn that off...it was giving me warnings about other places other than where I live.

But the hospital a couple blocks away has a siren on top of it that sounds when tornado warnings are around for this area.
 
No tornadoes where I live, but the winds last night were horrendous as I would guess around 40 to 45 MPH. No house damage, but a lot of broken limbs around the yard. I would love nothing more than to cut down two of the trees in our yard, but the landlord will not permit it. It's only by the grace of God that none of those limbs have come through the windows as they do hit the house when they come down.

I think most people around here got thru it without any major damage, Praise God! I heard something about a "minor tornado" (didn't know there was such a thing...I thought it'd be like being "a lil bit pregnant...") touching down nearby, but that has yet to be properly confirmed or something. anyway...

no major damage, no lives lost. the power didn't even go out for most people, so...yay!

I was 45min. late with my prayer for you and yours, but I prayed nonetheless for whatever God's mercy and protection would bring you guys.
