Often, a believer wants to have a simple understanding of what the will of God is, for themselves, for their life.
"What is God's will for ME"....they ask.
You can find it here.... as this verse is LOADED with Light for your daily and tomorrow path.
Psalm 37:3-5 ....
3 - Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

Notice that you are to get saved...."trust in the Lord", as how can you do anything for him, without becoming "His body".
Then..."dwell in the land"... this is a reference to "the kingdom of God", that you are as believer now become a part of....as you have been "translated from the power of darkness (lost, unsaved), into the "kingdom of LIGHT" (born again INTO IT)... As "by faith" you are now become a born again, "Child of the Light", with "Truth" being the definition of heavenly "Light". And Jesus is THE Truth, not just any truth....John 14:6......So, as Jesus is in you, and you are in Him.."in Christ"...Then, as He is Light, now so are you to be, always.
To walk in the "Light", means to walk in the "Truth".
This is your status....= You are a heavenly truth bearer, a bringer of the "Light of Life" into a dark world, so that others who are trapped in this darkness can be led out of it by your shining Kingdom of God Light, and thereby become a part of this Kingdom of Light, thus a "child of the Light" themselves, being born again.
That is God's will for you.
You are to do that.
And as you perform God's "work" = bringing Light into the darkness, He will take care of YOU...
= Fed, ... in all ways regarding not only keeping you full of the Joy of the Lord which is your strength, but also seeing to your needful personal necessities and those of your family, and of course, your ministry.
All believers are Ministers of : The Light.
4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
To delight yourself in the Lord....is to obsess.
Thats what it means......you are to become so heavenly minded and God focused that all your days are spent in a spiritual clarity that checks every thought , every deed, and every desire, through the holy filter of .."pleasing the Lord" in all you do and think and say.
That is how you delight yourself in the Lord, as to delight yourself in Him, delights Him......and that should be our delight.
And, "he shall give thee the desires of thine heart"..
This is understood best, differently then you've been taught it..
Its best understood this way.......When you seek first God and his righteous...When you purpose in your heart that you are "all in" for Him, "sold out".."radically saved"... then God will put new desires, (His desires) within your own heart, new revelations from the word, new spiritual experiences in your life, new thought processes in your mentality, Godly wisdom and spiritual understanding in your decisions, and Agape` LOVE flowing from you which empowers you and lifts others UP.... And in all this (they), God and Christ, will manifest themselves to you. John 14:21.
This means that the anointing of God, which is the Spirit of God, will enable, embolden, and empower you, to DO His will.
5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
To commit thy way to the Lord...., is to submit your life obediently to the Word of God (NT) and the Spirit of God, to do the Will of God.
Is to say...."Lord here am i , SEND ME".
"not my will Lord, but thine be done".
It is to weep...."Oh LORD i dont want to be one of those who are asleep in the LIGHT"...
To commit they way to the Lord, is to always live in a state of "availability for service" so that He can accomplish His purpose through you, anytime and anywhere.
You cant do this if you dont trust Him, if you dont believe that God is the author of restoration and new beginnings, and has the miraculous power to step into any broken circumstance and not only resolved it but remake it and remodel it so that what was wrong and broken has now become right and whole, and what was dark and lost, has now become Light and Peace.
So you must trust in His Love with all your heart, as this is to learn to lean not unto your own understanding, but rather to always place your faith and your hope in His Mighty Power to CHANGE everything always into Good.
