[__ Science __ ] Atheism and the Evidence for God

Even when there is overwhelming evidence, even an air tight case, few people, including Christians, budge on any issue. I've seen Atheists propose evidence that would convince them, but if existing evidence doesn't convict them, their hypothetical evidence wouldn't convince them. At least Dawkins is honest in finally admitting that.

I've read many papers by Atheists and ex-Christians and it's clear to me that lack of evidence is not the reason for their Atheism.

I don't care what any Atheist believes. The issue to me isn't what a Hell-bound reprobate believes. The issue is I want them to leave me alone to practice my faith in piece, which is outside the will off most Atheists. Until Jesus returns, I'm happy to spar with them, though.

Atheists discard evidence for God because of their naturalistic philosophy while accepting evidence for things far less probable.

Its because of what is being taught in schools, and the unbelief and scepticism of the parents. Atheists say do not push your views on me, but its ironic because that is what they do in subtle ways.
