Thanks. My user name is not what I have used elsewhere. But i have an x-son in law that is trying to make our lives miserable. Part of it is an initial. Beyond that, i will not say. Not until something settles out with him.

You are welcome sir. Hope to see you around in the comments section. It's fun when you participate to share your opinion. it's á fantastic experience in the real life to share your views, and read others responses and share another one. It's like practicing evangelism and sermon before you go out to the real world. In the daily Devotional section, I do read daily verses each day and it build my faith seeing how colorful the word of God look beautiful. So many beautiful places you could visit here. Once again welcome!

I understand. God will see you through this.

I listened to your online sermon and it was very well articulated. Your Protestant roots showed though lol.

While I know very little of messianic Judaism I do enjoy reading Jewish literature and there was a time I frequented Chabad.org on a regular basis. I have Rambans commentary on Torah and it has helped me to really start to understand Torah in ways I would have never understood.

Rambam or Ramban? Both are important post-talmudic commentators. Rambam is probably the more important of the 2.

I would suggest (if you want Torah commentaries) the First Fruits of Zion commentary "Depths of the Torah." It is not cheap, but incredible in its scope. It ties in the Christian scriptures as well.

While I appreciate Maimonides (as noted in my Signature), I much more enjoy Nachmanides for Torah studies.

I especially enjoyed reading on the three wells Isaac dug that were originally dug by his Father. Very enlightening!
