Genesis 1:29-30
[29]And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
[30]And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

Proverbs 15:17
[17]Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.

Proverbs 23:20
[20]Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh:

Did eating meat make people filled with hate and bring upon themselves the great flood. Afterwards God gave the go ahead to eat meat

You are what you eat. If eating vegetables makes you more loving and peaceful and eating meat brings hate and strife is world peace even possible? I don't think they eat meat in heaven because the lions lay down with lambs and there is no killing there. In heaven do people even eat food at all?

I think you have a solution in your mind, then go about creating a reason for it. There is no reason to think that eating vegetables makes you more loving and peaceful, or that eating meat brings hate and strife.

What happens when you pull a raw carrot from the ground and eat it? Or pick an apple from a tree and eat it? In both cases you have ended a life.

You don't kill the plant if you haven't ripped out the root. And do you see what that verse in proverbs 15 is saying and that in the beginning God did not say you could eat meat?

Take a look at the difference between carnivores and plant eaters.

A carrot is the root, as is a radish and others. When the angels -- God's messengers -- visited Abrham what did he serve them? A young goat boiled in its mother's milk.

You're twisting Proverbs 15:17. Here is a better translation...

"Better a meal of vegetables where there is love
than a fattened ox where there is hatred."

Clearly the fattened ox is preferred! It's better to settle for a meal of vegetables without strife than enjoy a steak and argue.

Jesus ate lamb at Passover and declared all foods to be clean, so I will continue to be a happy carnivore.

If you want to be a vegetarian or a vegan, go ahead. But to say that eating meat is wrong, produces anger, etc. and is contrary to God's will, etc. is unScriptural.

I have to go now and start making beef tacos for dinner!

I have not twisted scripture. You said that the fattened ox is preferred. that sir is twisted

Bullies have beef. That is the #1 problem in the world. Bullies and they give off a lot of beef towards people. Jesus is the lamb. You are what you eat. The angels were probably just relating with those people. Jesus didn't always go along with the old testament I don't know why. I guess fish is OK. I dunno. The bible is a serious book. And its very easily mid understood. Its weird how it can cause division in the church. I had a dream God told me that something was wrong with his son. Jesus does always seem logical.

Typo meant to say sometimes seems unlogical

No,as the first murder was by cain who ate no meat .

God commanded and respected meat offerings as able offered a meat . Abel offered fruit .

Sometimes I can seem alil messed up. I have a mental handicap. And been through a lot of trauma and stress

I don't recall the bible saying anything at all about what Cain would eat...

Esau Sells His Birthright for a bowl of lentils.

Gen 25:29 And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:
Gen 25:30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
Gen 25:31 And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.
Gen 25:32 And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?
Gen 25:33 And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
Gen 25:34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.

Also
Mal 1:2 I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,
Mal 1:3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

Just sayin.

As an Executive Chef and from my experience, I can tell you that vegetarians and vegans are not very loving and peaceful people. They will also let you know that they are vegetarian and/or vegan, some will also go as far as lecturing people about eating meat.

Grace and peace to you.

For all I know Cain could of smoked a blunt. I thought Abel offered an animal
The fear of man upon animals didn't occur until after the flood and many evil did men do that Gid regrets making man

I don't recall the bible saying anything at all about what Cain would eat...
I said that murder occured .there was no carnivore men.if God allowed it then and it it was common he wouldn't have to make animals fear men .they would have been afraid

The meaning is clear: avoid anger, regardless of how excellent the food is. You have your mind set on vegetarianism, but it's clouding your mind.

Here is a comment on that verse: Better is a dinner (portion) of herbs where love is. A dish of vegetables would be the common meal, whereas flesh would be reserved for festive occasions. Where love presides, the simplest food is cheerfully received, and contentment and happiness abound.

And another: Happy, loving relationships are more desirable than a great meal where there is hatred. The ideal is to have a loving family, friends, and great food; but short of that, a humble meal with love is preferable.

Clearly, when you write that "bullies have beef. That is the #1 problem in the world. (?) Bullies and they give off a lot of beef towards people. Jesus is the lamb. You are what you eat," you are making the common error of eisegesis: an interpretation, especially of Scripture, that expresses the interpreter's own ideas, bias, or the like, rather than the meaning of the text.

Are you pulling some of these unknown bible sayings out of a hat? At the beginning of the bible it says that after Adam and eve left paradise God pit the fear of man in animals...

In Genesis 3 or Genesis 6.?

In Genesis 4 it says nothing but about cain ,gen 6 is the flood .

But go ahead since my wife grows believe that you won't kill a pig who roots your plants or rabbits or moles or any such herbivore .

Genesis 4 the first murder no mention of God putting the fear or that man was eating meat .
Genesis 6

Genesis 9 lists the first time God said the fear of beasts shall be upon and no blood is to be eaten
