Why do cities exist ? And why does God allow so many people to exist ?

And I was reading a history book saying that humans evolved from primitive ape like ancestors and that the earth is really old.

So , do you believe a monkey is your uncle ?

You can fill your mind with this "history " or you can read God's word in the bible .

Do you have a hard copy of the bible:bible to read ?

How much time do you spend reading :Reading3 the bible ?

Many things we read in certain books can be man's theories without any truth to be told like that of evolution. It's much like reading the Bible without the Holy Spirit teaching us so we will not be deceived by a man's theory/understanding.

Greetings, Tired Of.

The Lord told Noah and his family to go forth and multiply, and replenish the earth, and the general suggestion is that He was hoping as many souls would come to spend eternity with Him in Heaven as possible. "God would that all be saved."

As for the whole evolution thing, this is a Christian forum, and most people here do not accept the theory of evolution as factual (including myself), so you may get some rather negative replies when asking about that.

That's alright I'm open to different views the book was a great history book non the less if you ignore the creation beginning part.

What data did the history book use to back its claims?

Hint: Anything contradicting God's Word is to be scrutinized and questioned.

You might find Romans and much of the NT intresting.
Reading it is much worth the effort.

Do you find working, i.e. working for a company boring? If not, why not? Work for God is by far the best work.

Reading the Bible is much better than experiencing something bad, i.e. pain or sadness.
Read it while you still have the opporutiny. You never know whatll happen.

Luke 12:16-21

"16 And He told them a parable, saying, “The land of a rich man was very productive. 17“And he began reasoning to himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no place to store my crops?’ 18“Then he said, ‘This is what I will do: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. 19‘And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years to come; take your ease, eat, drink and be merry.”’ 20“But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your soul is required of you; and now who will own what you have prepared?’ 21“So is the man who stores up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”"

It has always been a choice of mankind to believe God or believe man. Since the day that Eve ate of the fruit that brought sin into the world it has been the choice of believing God or believing someone else's account. Satan told Eve that she would not surely die and God said that she would. She did.

Cities exist because people gather together for work, safety, and community, using their God-given creativity to build and organize life. God allows many people to exist because each life is made in His image, and He desires relationship with every person, even though the world is broken by sin.

About the history book, many believe the earth is very old, but as Christians, we trust that God created everything, and humans are made uniquely in His image, not just as advanced animals.
