Gary, have you considered rolling your own cigarettes or somehow smoke just natural tobacco? The danger in modern cigarettes is the same with processed foods: hundreds of additives. Also, just do so in moderation then it's not really unhealthy. After all, the original settlers did not find the Native Americans who smoked tobacco running around with lung cancer (and they ran around in the sun, too, but they did not get skin cancer, either, but that's another story). But that said, they treated smoking as a sacred act, so you did not find an Indian smoking a peace pipe every 5 minutes on break, either. The key is moderation. Learn to enjoy that smoke for a few minutes say, several times a week probably would not cause harm.
I heard tea and coffee mentioned as "drugs" too. That's mainline medical establishmentalism. They are rich in antioxidants. They always dwell on the negative (e.g. caffeine, which BTW is not really that bad for you in lower amounts) but never on the positive. Yet, I have YET to hear to stay away from all the other additives.... colorings, flavor enhancers, artificial ingredients, etc. But Oh! these artificial foods are LOW in fats, cholesterol, salt and caffeine so it must be healthy for you!

Yeah, so is plastic, like margarine. I stopped listening loooooong ago. When they start to speak out of the right end where the mouth is instead of the wrong end, I'll listen. But so far I haven't see any ounce of logic or good science, just junk science and
agendas.
