Hi all,

I was listening to D. Jeremiah yesterday and he also agrees that we are at the door step of the great tribulation. The U.S. does appear to be the Beast and Satan gives the Beast his authority and that's what we're seeing... as a real possibility. I had a wonderful teacher in South Miami-Dade county years ago, and he felt that by 2025 the end would be appearing. So, there's a real possibility that we are seeing the beginning of that. I'm just encouraging any born again believers to be opening their spiritual eyes and ears to what's going on with this generation.

Way too soon, Miameted. That, and the end-times prophecies are not America-centered, they are Israel-centered. But that would be a long discussion. How about if you wanna discuss that subject you start a new thread for it in end-times and provide a link to it here. I wouldn't mind discussing that, but this thread should be reserved for prayers and positive remarks for the President elect.

The Beast is the United States of America. It's the only nation that fits the descriptors. Look, when Daniel had his vision of beasts, they were nations that were powerful ruling nations to come. Babylon, while not the only nation on the earth, was the most powerful in its days upon the earth. The Meds-Persian empire, while not the only nation on the earth at the time was the most powerful. The Greeks, while not the only nation on the earth, was the most powerful nation on the earth in its day. And then Rome, again while not the only nation on the earth in its day, was the most powerful. They were all portrayed and described as beasts.

  • First beast: A lion with eagle's wings, but with its wings plucked off and standing on two feet
  • Second beast: A bear with three ribs in its mouth, raised up on one side
  • Third beast: A leopard with four wings and four heads
  • Fourth beast: A dreadful beast with large iron teeth and ten horns
Now we are introduced to a final Beast. A beast that rises up out of the sea. So, following God's explanation that 'beasts' are His way of referring to powerful nations that rule the earth in their day, today, that can only be the United States of America. This Beast however comes up out the sea.

I think most theologians teach that the sea here is how God speaks of all the people upon the earth. Well, the United States is the only nation that can claim the title of being established by people from all over the earth. We have Germans, Poles, French, Spanish, Russians, Arab and literally people from all over the earth. And we were established as a nation in the 1700's and have since been built up by people from every corner of the globe. There is no other nation on the earth that even holds a candle to the number of nationalities that are represented among our people.

Then we are told that everyone follows after the Beast. Surely there's not a soul on the earth today that can't see that pretty much all the nations are following after what happens in the United States.

Then God asks the question: Who can make war against the Beast. Again, the United States is the most powerful nation upon the earth, militarily. Every nation will think long and hard about coming against the United States in war. And every nation that has, has been soundly defeated and every nation that we have warred against has been pretty soundly defeated, although yes, Afghanistan and Vietnam were not sound victories, but they never came close to overcoming the mighty power of the United States.

So, let's consider that based on the descriptors given of the final Beast, just as the descriptors of Daniel's beasts clearly seem to have defined the 'Beast' nations that came before Jesus, this final Beast of the Revelation of Jesus clearly describes the nation of the United States. Currently the most powerful nation upon the planet, just as those other nations were the most powerful nations upon the planet in their day.

So let's put all of that together, which is why I believe God has given us the descriptors that He has caused to be written, just as those who have studied the beasts of Daniel's day were able to look at those descriptors and name the nations that they referred to, and I don't see how there can be any question. At least as the nations of the world stand today.

Now that doesn't make the people who live in the nation evil, but it's just how God sees the powerful nations that rule upon the earth as time has passed since the days of King Nebuchadnezzar. I believe that the United States perfectly fits each and every descriptor that God has given us in describing this final 'Beast' (nation) to rise up on the earth.

So now we continue to read what this 'Beast' is going to be doing and that will be the destiny of the United States. That destiny is now being fully fulfilled. Everyone is following after the 'Beast' (nation). But the Beast gets its power from the Dragon, that Serpent of old, the Devil. Now we have installed a man whose reign of hate and terror and division as our leader has been approved by the people of the Beast.

So, my encouragement for those who seriously study the prophecies of the Revelation of Jesus, is to read and understand what God is telling us and realizing that the time of the Great Tribulation and the following end of this realm that we live in today of God's creating is coming to an end. David Jeremiah believes so, as did my pastor in the 1990's when I lived in South Miami-Dade county. And there are others who have been preaching that the end is nigh. I see what's happening in the Beast nation and agree that we're getting very, very close to the day that Jesus questioned would there be any faith on the earth when he returns.

So, just as Hidden In Him, in another thread speaks of some dream that their relative or friend had of some danger coming to Trump that apparently hasn't happened, and now, like the Jehovah's witnesses has to go in and change 'what the vision really must have meant' because it didn't happen as the dreamer said it would in the beginning, we the born again believers in the Lord Jesus' Revelation to us of the unfolding of the future should be studying the visions that are actually given to us by our God.

That's all. So, I just encourage believers to be seriously considering 'who' or 'what' this final Beast will be as a nation upon the earth. Remember, beasts are nations in God's account to us. And yes, we should, as God's words also encourage us, to pray for our leaders.

The beast is clearly a United Nations entity.

The beast is a global government that is a conglomeration of several nations.


Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head while on his bed. Then he wrote down the dream, telling the main facts.

The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings. You would also have to read Daniel 2 to understand better.
Daniel 9 is also crucial to understand what Jesus taught about the time just before His return.

The key to understanding that there will be a world kingdom or world government that arises with 10 kings governing 10 regions of the global kingdom, look at a couple of things that are consistent between Daniel and Revelation.

  • 10 horns which are 10 kings. Note 1 singular beast with ten horns.
  • Key timeframe of three and a half years.


Remember its 1 beast with 10 horns.
