    I prefer to read the bible in chronological order rather than reading one Old Testament book one day and one New Testament book the next. So, yes it is a good thing.

    You got that right Angel. I take my family for granted most times. My mom is still alive but had a stroke in 2010 and she can barely talk. She CAN talk, but can't think of what she wants to say. You guys may not like me, but mom and I fight sometimes. I know it's wrong, and I'm working on it.

    I'm not wondering what time he was born. The day. I figured it out. It was sometime in September. But I am not going to celebrate the birth of him just on that date. I will celebrate him everyday.

    I know this may be a stupid prayer request, but could you pray for my family that is coming down to our house Thursday for thanksgiving? This is possibly the most dysfunctional family, and I just need prayers to have them act half normal. Thanks and God bless.

    They made fun of Jesus because he brought the girl back from the dead. They didn't believe that Jesus could do that. I have been laughed at before because of my looks. I look different than people. I have been called "Bart Simpson" if you get my drift.

    I deleted my post cause I am realizing that I shouldn't dedicate one day to take out of life to celebrate HIS blessings in my life. I celebrate him everyday.

    I know. Let me post the summary of what is being said: Some want gifts. Some don't want gifts. Some enjoy giving gifts. And ALL of us are celebrating the birth/not birth of Jesus. And we ALL like spending time with family and friends. And also hopefully going to Christmas mass wherever we may be.

    You're right Obadiah my bad. So, some like gifts and some don't like gifts. But what we all know is He's the ultimate gift for all of us.

    Now I get it. You guys want gifts, and not necessarily to celebrate the "reason for the season" type mentality. That's a good idea. That makes sense.
