Come to think of it, I think that "lawful killing" in this area means "God-instructed killing." So in this topic on whether God contradicted Himself in the Old Testament, I think that since it was a God-instructed war, it is not considered murder. What do you think?
You may have come across the problem of: "If God commanded us not to kill, why did He command the Israelites to kill their enemies?"
I've thought of that too. Below is a link to the answer. God Bless!

1. Not sure.
2. I see a beast's, or dragon's, head at the top.
3. Three things: a fairy at the top; Darth Vader in the middle; an animal's skull at the bottom.
What I feel about divorce? I believe that it is not what God intended for anyone at all.
"What God has put together, let no man put asunder."
I don't know if that is off topic.

I was just using the drug taking as an example of a stumbling block. As for the fish sign, I respect the intention, but I do not think that other people will care enough to approach you and ask about your faith.
I believe that the more important thing is not the message we want to give through tattoos, but the message others receive as a result of tattoos.
I define a stumbling block as: something that causes others to doubt the standards of the Christian faith. For example, i believe Christians are...
I'm afraid I do not have sufficient knowledge about Islam to adequately answer your questions. Perhaps you can do some research on the internet, or listen to some speakers concerning this subject.

We have three parts in our being: a spirit; a soul; and a body. Our spirit is the eternal being; and the soul consists of the mind, will, and emotion. God formed Adam's body out of dust, and created a spirit and soul in it. When the body dies, the spirit and soul are free from this physical...
Here in Ecclesiastes, we see Solomon despairing about life: "everything is meaningless. . . completely meaningless." In chapter 9 verse 9 he said, "Live happily. . . through all the meaningless days of life God has given you." Does this mean that life is meaningless? We can only understand this...
That appears to be your opinion. If the dead were asleep, why were Moses and Elijah with Jesus during The Transfiguration?
Where in the Bible does it say His spirit ministered to the dead? 1 Peter 3:18-20 -- "Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for...

And Jesus did not sleep in the tomb. The Scripture says that He ministered to the dead; so His spirit couldn't have been asleep...
Then why did Jesus tell the criminal, "I assure you, today you shall be with me in paradise"? If right now, both believers and non-believers are asleep in the grave, then what is this paradise that Jesus talked about. Notice He said, "Today."
I believe that we should take this particular parable in a literal way. Just as we believe Christ was clear in indicating that the place "beside Abraham" and the "place of the dead" are separate and unbridgeable, so we should also take Christ's indication that the place of the dead is a place of...
