Is the punishment for sin death or Hell?
If it's death, why do christians still die?
If it's (an eternity in) Hell, then Jesus hasn't taken the punishment for us.
Here's a new apostles creed I've created. As you'll see, it's completely backed up by the bible:
I believe …..
All Scripture is God-breathed (2 Timothy 3 v 16)
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent (Numbers 23 v19)...
Do you mean Kelvin? If so, no, that can't be. You can't even get 0 Kelvin (I think it's due to the 3rd law of thermodynamics). I think the coldest anywhere in the universe is just under 3 degrees Kelvin.
I believe that we're not under law, as Galatians 3 says. I'm not wanting to debate that particularly, I'm just wondering when the law actually ceased to be. I kind of assumed it was done away with when Jesus was crucified. But if you read Mark 2 v 23-28, where the pharisees are asking Jesus about...
Where's the biblical evidence for this? I've been a christian for about 30 years and this isn't my experience. I still have strong doubts even after all this time.

Why would anyone look down on you for reading it? My understanding of what the apocrypha is is books that they weren't sure whether to include in the bible or not, so they ended up leaving them out. If that's correct, why would anyone think it's wrong to read it any more than it's wrong to read...
So why did God put the tree of life there in the first place? It seems kind of risky.
And doesn't the fact that they could have lived for ever after sinning contradict what the bible says about the wages of sin being death?
