This story is unreal. I'm assuming we're all caught up in the news.
 
I am not surprised. its said that one percent of the population may be sex slaves or trafficked to the us.
 
human trafficking involves kidnapping, most adult entertainers are kidnapped into the job and so is the case with prostitution. what that is by definition was a type of slavery
 
I don't think you understand what story I'm referring too. The suspect is Ariel Castro.
 
I am avoiding that case with all my strength. I don't want to know, I really don't.

There is no purpose served by me knowing what they went thru.

The one bright spot is the man who had the GUTS to rescue them. HE has a history of a felony arrest, but when it came down to it, he had the 'stuff' to do the right thing, and bravely bust down a door to help a screaming woman!

20 thousand people are trafficked each year to the us.
 
These women were US citizens, I believe from I think Cleveland.
 
that trafficking does involve kids kidnapped in the us. these often are sent to other nations. so yes it does happen in the us.

we had a ring of this busted in my town, and in hobe sound. so yes its more common then we like to think.

I thought the same thing. One of the worst stories of trafficking I can remember. It's over an hour west of Cleveland but I've heard Toledo is one of the worst cities in the country for child trafficking. It's just sad.
 
So, humantrafficking is basically, people would come over to the house to have sex with these three women in captivity for a price? They would pay Castro? I don't understand.
 
basically. but im not sure if castro was doing that. I could involve and I know it has been for personally slavery. meaing my sex slave that I got.
 
So what you're saying is these women were raped over and over for 10 years by strange men from around the way. My GOD! So how did Castro know that these strange men wouldn't go to the cops and turn him in? Or did they keep it between the three brothers.
 
I am not saying that he did do that. I don't recall that they did but its possible that it went on. that does happen in the us.

I will see if shelly lubben has anything on this. but be warned she is a former porn star and well can be descriptive but to the point of sin just using the jargon so that the addict knows why its bad to be into porn. she is also on fb. at the time I went to check the site is working right.
 
If I remember right Toledo was on the FBI list for high child trafficking activity. Where kids, Im guessing 8-18?, are abducted and sold in and out of the country. I have daughters and it just breaks my heart to hear about these stories. I think the same, I'd rather not know the details. Only information that would help prevent it or catch those that do.
 
It's just uugh. My stomach hurts now. It's just hard to fathom that kind of evil. Can you imagine the therapy needed for these women. I am glad they are safe and at home.
