I really don't understand how Americans can allow this. Even in Europe with all our anti gun laws don't suspend children from doing that. We even allow our children to play mock war games in the school yard.

The family hired a lawyer to fight the 1-day suspension (from 1st grade)?!? There are too many layers of wrong in this one.

'Kay, I haven't read the article, but seriously?? I've seen kids do that just for fun before; it's called playing.
Still, why call in a lawyer over it?
