2012, Not The End

December 23rd 2012 the world ends, or does it? The bible states that no man will know the hour nor the day the world comes to an end, so that basically solves that problem. And not to mention the world was suppose to end in 1986, 2000, 2006 and in 2011, not yet here. So how can we trust anyone who says the world will end? Yes possibly what scientists say is true and that on that day the earth will be in perfect alignment with the center of the milky way the sun and the moon but they have no idea what effect that will have on the Earth. And also how could be the end, the end is on 2011. Supposing we are all to be raptured on 2011, don't remember the date and don't care, but if that is true how could 2012 be true. It's a bunch of superstitious hooey. We are not to know when the end is to come, and don't tell me I'm wrong because then you'll be saying God is wrong as well because these are his words not mine.

Very true our Lord Jesus said no man knows the day or hour of His coming, not even the angels know, but only The Father knows (Matt.24:36). Yet our Lord and His Apostles did show we are to know the times and the seasons, meaning the events leading up to His return. If we watch the events like He gave us, then we'll know the 'times' and the 'seasons' (1 Thess.5; Rev.3:3; Rev.16:15). That part has nothing to do with specific date setting and date watching.

The 2012 hooplah is from the pagan Mayan calendar, and the idea of some special planetary alignment that rarely happens (every 25,000 years?). We shouldn't see that date as having any specific importance about Christ's return, because we're supposed to be watching the events our Lord gave us to watch.

But what about Christ's enemies today that are trying to setup a one world kingdom over all nations to mimic Christ's coming Kingdom in final? Would they use that 2012 date to create some event on the earth to declare 'their' kingdom on earth?

I recall the year 2000 milennial celebration that took place at the Great Pyramid in Egypt. Many world leaders were there, including leaders from America, and the rock band U2 was the entertainment. Many globalists donated gold for making a covering over a small pyramid shaped frame covered with sheet metal. Originally, the Great Pyramid had a solid gold apex (little pyramid) which sat on the top of the Great Pyramid. It was removed long ago when Cairo was built to form covering for many of the building spires. The globalists had planned to set their version of that apex on top of the Great Pyramid in the year 2000. It didn't happen. Maybe they'll try again in 2012?

no,no, no, dont you all know that the pyramids are alien landing platforms.

ra is returning and all must bow to him!

i know that, i was joking and using a favorite tv show/movie of mine called stargate. thank god none of that stuff is real.

True, no man or angel or even the Son will no the day or the hour; only the Father. However we will know the season. I know no one could ever pinpoint a day (and shouldn't), but the day is coming up fast.. We can see it all happening right before our eyes. One currency, one world government, the rebuilding of the temple. It is happening fast so please be ready.

One thing that i found interesting about his subject was that if ONLY the Lord knows, and no one else, that means that Satan doesn't know and therefore has an antichrist ready to step into the place if He does sound the trumpet. This means Hitler could have been one of his, as well as many others... Interesting huh?

Not that i believe this Mayan mumbo jumbo either, but the Lord did tell us that there would be signs in the heavens. However, I don't know exactly the meaning of this, but just sharing my ideas.

Also, I am 15 and don't know how to post in the Teens section. Sorry this is the wrong place, but if anyone would be so kind as to help i would be very greatful!

No such thing as space aliens. But the fallen angels do exist.

Show me proof there are no aliens. It is impossible to prove something does not exist because there will always be evidence it does and evidence it doesn't, and the only one who can be proved right are those that it does exist, with a physical specimen of course.

isn't odd that said aliens always deny the christ?or send messages to the those that have talked to them that jesus aint real.

are all experciences like that, no,

but makes me wonder, and can i say that they are no aliens, no
but highly unlikely.

It's certinally not the end and little more than one wrong guesstimate in a long line of false guesses.

As for the aliens issue, I think 99% can be explained away by natural phenomena. The other 1% are demonic manifestations and should not be looked to for gaining any hidden knowledge or followed in their advice.

Any spirit or being that doesn't come in the name of Jesus Christ is of the devil and should be rebuked, just as Michael the Archangel rebuked Satan in Jude 1:9.

I knew you were joking bro. I turned off my TV years ago. Disney Channel drew the line for me. My 2 1/2 year old and I were watching Disney one morning, and a show about a little red-haired kid in school came on. The kid while in class would daydream himself into adventures and in the roles of heros. His dream took him to the trenches of WWI in one episode, as an American soldier. He gets up out of this foxhole and gets shot in the right shoulder. Blood starts squirting out everywhere like it hit an artery. And there's my little son seeing all that. I called to cancel the TV subscription that morning. Satan's workers will come into our home in many ways, if we allow it.

No problem. There's been some so-called Christian movie companies that have been using the Mayan calendar theme to maybe spread interest in the end of days. But they're mixing pagan ideas in with Christian doctrine, not a good idea. I see more of the ecumenical movement in that instead of really witnessing for Christ.

For one, aliens don't exist in God's Word. But fallen angels and evil spirits do. For someone who doesn't believe in God's Word as Truth, they have to resort to belief in what else to explain that phenomena? The secularists have to resort to belief in 'aliens' that exist in this same material dimension we're in, but come from another planet.

But God's Word points to the existence of another dimension besides this earthly material dimension we live in. And if there exists technology in that other dimension of the heavenly, (which I believe there does exist), it is no doubt much more advanced than anything man on this earth has ever known. Ezekiel's vision of what he saw per Ezekiel 1 is especially interesting once it's understood. The Hebrew word for "amber" there even means 'bronze or polished spectral metal' per Strong's 2830.

If the word "angel" was translated into English it would read "messenger." People have a spirit, and they are either good or evil spirited.

Using the KJV, where we read angel(s), they are heavenly messengers. Where we read messengers, they are either demonic or human.

Interpretations are not translations. Angels are part of the Pagan religion. Personally I believe that it is a sin to join Paganism to God or His word.

I am aware of how angels were depicted in ancient mythology. :shrug

But we digress.

Hmm, 2012 is probably nothing more than the end of some Mayan age. It doesn't mean much to me.

The year 2012 marks a 2000 year from that day Yahshua at age 12 entered the temple for the first time.
Not necessarily, in the gospel of Mathew,Jesus is born during the reign of Herod the Great. Herod the Great died in the year 4 B.C. which would have Jesus' birth sometime prior to that.
