{25} Do not take revenge
{26} If your enemy is hungry, feed him.
{27} Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Proposition: The New Testament offers practical solutions for human problems.
Which ones above, if observed, would likely solve most of humanity's problems?
I'd pick {1} . .{2} . . {3} . . {4} . . for starters.

Look 'em over carefully.
Which ones would you pick as your "most likely" to solve human problems?
And explain why if you will.

_________

Number {24} should raise an eyebrow.
My view is that Number {24} refers to the general moral code shared
by most of humanity, for example Do not murder. Do not steal. Do to
others what you would have them do to you.

What say you?

`

None of them.

Rules have not and will not solve the human problem, only a personal faith in Jesus can do that.

At a secondary level if there are enough Christians to influence society hen non Christians will start flying Christian behaviour and try to follow Christian morality.
You can see this in the way society tried to behave in the in the early part of the 20th century.

imo this would help with the human situation:

1. draw near to God and He will draw near to you - God near you will affect you and everyone around you for the better - James 4:8

2. make your requests to God with thanksgiving - so that the power of God can enter a situation and change it just like God's power always manifests when His people praise Him - Philippians 4:6

3. speak the truth with love - the truth about God - the truth about God's wisdom for living - the truth about the good new message - Ephesians 4:15-16

4. be kind and tenderhearted forgiving one another - Ephesians 4:32

for me these are the most powerful life changing things we can do to see God change us and others

Correction.
# 23 and NOT # 24

The list of rules up there, given under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit,
assumes that those observing them are Christians. The Apostle Paul
wrote Romans to the Christians in Rome. There was no reason to assume
that I was excluding personal faith in the Lord Jesus in my Opening
Post -- I was not excluding Him.

Thanks for reading my Opening Post.

Truthfrees,
A super helpful and heart-warming contribution. Thanks.
I love the book of Ephesians.

Unrealistic and impossible

The ones I believe would most solve human problems:

{4} Be devoted to one another in love.

{12} Share with the Lord’s people who are in need.

{18} Live in harmony with one another.

{22} Do not repay anyone evil for evil.

But, of course, everyone would have to follow the same rules.
Thanks for an interesting O.P.

Yes JAQ...I give everything serious thought.
I'm a thinker!

I was just wondering ......... the definition kind of contradicts your assertion. Because it includes energy. So your point is......pointless!
