Ann has completed her second round of chemo and now we're halfway through. She will be spending the next 2 weeks gaining her strength/endurance back in preparation for round 3. She has lost so much of her hair. She had me cut was little is left real short. I didn't like doing it but I know she cannot go out to have it done per chemo weakened immune system. I felt bad cutting her hair like that. We are a week out of that 2nd round and her appetite is coming back and the chemo side effects are fading. Blood tests came back good and cancer markers are in normal range so so far so good. Praise God.

That must be so hard to experience.

I pray that the Lord be with you and your loved one

Praying for am easy ride for Ann
Is this the last or are there more?
After this next one (tomorrow), there is supposed to be one more. Ann's labs show low white blood cell count(to be expected), but otherwise good. The one big concern is she is having continued numbness in her hands(she says they feel like they're asleep). The Doc says if they worsen, he may have to "alter" treatment (whatever that means). I want her to have the full course of chemo, but we'll see.

Ann completed her 4th and last round of chemo infusion on Friday. We're struggling through these next few days as the last of her hair falls out and she endures the side effects. She will go in again in a few weeks for more blood draws and labs........if it is the Lord's will, we will just have monitoring visits every so often from here out. Thank you all for your continued prayers.

Wow. On phone, will have to keep it short. Prayers continue. Copper peptides on the scalp can help with inflammation and alopecia, sometimes. Keep us posted, please.

Praise God indeed! It is hard on both of you, the whole thing, and then the hair, insult to injury. but you have God to lean on and Ann's hair will grow back.
