Hello everyone,

Anyone into 3D printing? I designed a model of Jesus tot hang on the wall. Nice new modern way to spread the word? Please tell me what you think of 3D printing and christianity

I have a few designs of Jesus' face that I wanted to cut on my CNC plasma table but never did because I am always reminded by the Holy Spirit that we shouldn't make any of that stuff to represent God.

I always wanted to "print" parts of a gun, assemble it, and see if it would really work. Not to use, of course. Merely to prove a point to the government lol.

Well there are a few pioneers who have done exactly that.Theres a documentary on youtube of a young guy who has attracted quite a bit of attention with his devotion to perfecting the 3D gun.Evidenty its legal as long as its manufactured for personal usage but starts getting nasty quick if you even think of selling one.Ill try to look for the guys name or post a link to the documentary for reference.

As for 3D printing in general,I had never heard of it prior to viewing that documentary.Something of that nature could go a long way in many applications.I think it would be awesome to own one.Imagine being able to craft custom hand tools,or as you guys have done make your own decorations for the house.Aspiring inventors could use them as a gateway to producing prototypes rather than having to go through the expense of hiring someone to do it for them.

I see these being really popular in the next several years,and Im just curious to see what creativity results.
