5-week-old born again baby

[
Hi everyone! Mark1616 is just one of my favorite verses, not my actual name. My name is Josh, and I live in Oklahoma. My old self is 36 years old, and my new self is only 5 weeks old! I've been a believer for a few years now, but I wasn't yet saved. On Saturday, December 14, 2013 (because I was so eager to get it done, I simply couldn't wait until Sunday), I repented, publicly confessed that Jesus is God's Son, and was baptized for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38). My sins are now washed away (Acts 22:16), and for the first time in my life, I can KNOW beyond any doubt that I am saved (1 Peter 3:21, Mark 16:16). I couldn't be more excited as I begin my new life of serving the Lord and His church, and sharing the Gospel with everyone I know!

Hey Mark,
Your new life reminds me of Gal 2:20 - I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live. But Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body I live by faith in the son of God who loved me and gave himself for me.
