1Jn_2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
2Jn 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Seems the Word says antichrists have been around a good long while...
 
Hear of any of the LHC stuff going on? Over at CERN in Switzerland? Where they have a statue of Shiva, the Destroyer? And there is an embedded 666 in their logo? Probably has nothing to do with bible prophecy. Here's some American Idol. Don't look over here.

However THE ANTICHRIST (the Beast, the Man of Sin, the King of Fierce Countenance, the Son of Perdition, that Wicked) is yet to be revealed. He will sit in the Temple of God at Jerusalem claiming that he is God. Please go to 2 Thess 2:1-12.
 
The Scriptures give us a definition of what antichrist is .. so many people are not satisfied with the Scripture definition..
Way too often the Scripture is 'adjusted' to fit into man's different theologies..

1Jn_2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1Jn_4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

It has to go deeper than that reba, even the devils know who he is..

Matthew 8:29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

A person must confess with his mouth, its a personal thing..

Linguistic suicide.

The American Declaration of Independence stipulates that all MEN are created equal.

Are we to adopt your translational / interpretational practices used on scripture to mean women are not created equal with men?
 
Man wrote The Declaration of Independence ... God wrote the Scriptures...John penned both the little books of John and The Revelation... I find meaning in the fact God did not have him use again the term antichrist... The way the word antichrist is bounced around these days selling movies and books etc it just makes sense to me.. .. It is OK for folks to not agree... :)
