A Faith Challenge- A big one

Last week at church it was announced that this week there will be a prophet visit us and do his thing which should be fairly interesting. Also announced was a visiting faith healer. I was thinking to myself this is going to be an interesting Sunday at church and was trying to think of someone to invite who needs healing and couldn't think of anyone. Later on I thought about me I am half blind in both eyes 9 optic nerve problem in my head) and slowly loosing my hearing because of industrial deafness as well as tinnitus. I am so used to it all I forget I have it. I cant drive a car ever again because if it.

I am going to try to get rid of those things on Sunday via faith healing. They will go if Gods will allows it and if it is done for his glory to display his power. It has happened before to me, instant healing of a bad medical thing through a christian faith healer I know it works. Any prayers for me would be greatly appreciated and will help a lot. if it works I will be able to explain to everyone how it got better after 20 years.

ON Sunday morning I need to expect it to be cured not just vaguely hope. It seems to work that way, I need prayers to help me with my faith.

I guess in faith terms it feels like taking on moving a mountain with faith At the moment I feel a bit like I am preparing to move the mountain with a crow bar faith wise. I need heaps more as I have prayed for this before and nothing changed.

If we understood what faith in us does, we wouldn't need any faith healer. Healing is ours in Christ by faith. What is our inheritance in our spirit becomes a bridge that enables healing to manifest in the soul and the body.

Sometimes I think we forget one of the reasons Jesus died on the cross for us. One of those reasons was for our healing. No need to wait till Sunday for the fella to get here. Take up your mat and walk.....today! :p

I have to agree with Pizza here, I have a hard time believing in the "faith healers" I am not saying that God can not use a person to help you be healed, but the whole idea of someone getting up in front of a crowed and healing dozens or hundreds of people just does not jive well with my soul. Again I am not saying it can not happen, I just have a hard time seeing as real. I also have seen many people get very depressed because they had all this hope in this healer and did not get their healing, they think either God does not care to heal them, they have to much sin, or their faith is not strong enough or they don't have enough faith. Come on, we are supposed to build the body up not make them feel less of a Christian.

We can learn a lot from Paul, we know for sure he had a physical disability or disease that hindered him in some way, I believe it could have been some form of eye disease, we see in Galations Paul had a painful infliction and the Galations were willing to pluck out their "eyes" to give to him, also we see Paul could not write on his own after some time or even wrote in big letters, but he did for some reason have Tertius write down Romans for him. This could very well be because his eyes were getting worse.

Yes I believe God wants us all to be healed and live a healthy life, but let's face it, we are not in paradise yet, so we will have to except human pain and earthly diseases at this time and God also uses these inflictions to bring us closer to Him and to keep us close to Him, to depend fully on Him, not on ourselves.

So what I suggest is if you go to this healing and do not get your healing do not beat yourself up that your faith is not enough or strong, this could be satan trying to pull you down in stead of the body building you up.

I to will pray God heal you, and look forward to hearing how it went.

Please don't take my comments as a negative one against faith healers, I wont judge and I know God can use them if He desires to, but I also believe God does not need them to make a big deal of themselves, boasting in how God used them to heal you, (not that all do but a good majority I have seen do). He can heal you in the privacy of your own home if He wants you to be healed.

It was read to me righ before I was healed by faith last time by a pastor doing exactly that what is written above. I believe. Because it has worked before.


My friend with the healing gift said if you want it to work you must believe and not doubt. I stil remember the faces of 2 puzzled neurosurgeons trying to work out why they had to cancel that days operation on my head. I just told them god fixed me. but as it always is with people not all will believe..they cant, not all desire to. Tomorrow I have to be in that expectant frame of mind a gain.. I hope I can.

Chris I am going to shoot straight with you.

#1. You do not need my prayers, but if you want my prayer I will give it. We have all we need already. And what we lack God gives us day by day.

#2. Healing comes from God, not the vessel He uses. You, nor anyone else, 'carries' in them the power to heal.

#3. If you do not receive a word from God to constitute your faith, then it will be nothing more than a hope. Which at this time you know to be true. But it does not mean that you will not be given it later.

#4. If God wants to heal you He will. No amount of doing ANYTHING physically or mentally is going to be able to conjure up the faith needed for healing. When people are healed it is ONLY because they were given faith at that moment for the healing.

#5. If you need any proof of any of this; read accounts of people being healed in the Bible. They either made the point that IF He wanted to, He could heal them; or they were healed just because He wanted to show His power. When it was because of their desire, it was because they understood who He was and what He was capable of. Not one ounce of it came from their own self will.

why not just ask an elder to pray withyou via james and then leave it to the lord. if he does then he does, if not.

yes its hard to do that but what else can you do? leave it to god. shoot i would love to be headache/back pain free but you if God wants to he can heal it. i try to minimize the causes of the pain if i can but thats all i can do.

a christian healer who travels around to churches internationally comes to church an a special service is held for it so I give it a go. I wouldn't have even thought of it if he didn't visit.

As I write this there are tears of joy all over my hands and keyboard The crickets outside and the sounds of the night are so loud I haven't heard it in years like that because I have had industrial deafness.
I am very emotional now.

I went to the church service and Pastor Andy Kubala was there he has the gift of healing.
The biggest miracle tonight was the many who dedicated their lives to Christ.

2 times he prayed for me in the healing service the first one very briefly the second one a bit longer. When he did he prayed any sickness leave me. I stood there with an open mind watching others he had prayed over picking themselves up of the floor or just laying there.

I decided I wasn't going to fall down like them. When he prayed over me a tingling warm feeling swept over me and through me, and before I knew it I was being caught and laid on the floor gently. WOW! Take it from me this is real the holy spirit is using him to minister to people. I was helping pack up church and praying with people I didnt really check me out to much and still haven't. Not thinking much had changed I come out the back to my computer to write this and found myself hearing the night sounds really loudly for the first time in years. I just went outside and cried heaps because my hearing returned. Praise God. Yes It does work. the miracles in acts still happen now. The Holy spirit still moves in peoples lives. I am amazed at what i just saw.

Just a question for the Very Elect, do you think that Christ would do a work for these seen in His Word from Isa. 59:1-2 or John 9:31's N.T. fact, or these ones of Matt. 7:22?? And the ABOMINATION OF THE EARTH Rev. 17:1-5 ones whole bunch!

Christ has told you what your fate will be by knowingly going where He forbids one to go... for ANY REASON! Rev. 18:4

PS: Just a side not on FAITH. It is ones personal FAITH that has them healed. That FAITH is IN CHRIST! Christ was without honor in His own country & could find few miracle preformed. And these ones also subbmit to HIS WILL! (of healing + everything else, the Lord's prayer!) Paul sought healing three times before 2 Cor. 12:7-10 came into his view. And miracles will be one of the great deception's of satan & crew to try to 'deceive' God's Elect!

Most of the folks here in this forum already know and believe in the power of Christ through our own personal relationship with him. That's been healing enough for me, but I'm glad to hear your doing better physically. Regardless, there will come a day when we will all be perfected.

Most of the folks here in this forum already know and believe in the power of Christ through our own personal relationship with him. That's been healing enough for me, but I'm glad to hear your doing better physically. Regardless, there will come a day when we will all be perfected.

Sorry that I jumped in this boat too late to pray for you. Seems like you did ok without me? I have no problem with miracles, they happen all the time. If this is another one, then good for you! I am curious if the healing request was for your ears, eyes, or both? So you can hear better? What about your eyesight? I am confused if only one ailment was fixed but not the other.
I would like to know this healers name. Is he a pastor or preacher somewhere?
Seems if someone had this gift to use at will then he would be in high demand!

Praising God with you, brother! I have tinnitus pretty much 24 hours a day and sometimes I can't hear things because of it. I am rejoicing with you in your healing!

That's cool brother, I'm not calling you out. Just wondering why this man has anymore connection to Christ than any other believer. Why did you have to go to him for this? Couldn't you just go to Christ yourself?
