A Genuine faith without Born Again Loving OBEDIENCE??

Is there any scriptural evidence of God's expectations for us regarding sabbaths prior to Moses' law? I'm just wondering if it is spelled out or if it is all supposition.

Surely! Even before man was created. Heb. 13:20 we see the Lord giving His Blessings to His work... Gen. 2
[1] Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
[2] And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
[3] And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

This was even before Adam & Eve sinned.

--Elijah

OH! And that is what Christ called the FIRST GREAT COMMANDMENT! Matt. 22:37

I understand that God blessed and sanctified the seventh day because He rested, but that particular scripture doesn't say we are to do the same thing. Further, Matt 22:37 doesn't mention any particular sabbath observance. So then what scriptural evidence is there that God instructed us to observe the sabbath prior to Moses' Law?

So then what scriptural evidence is there that God instructed us to observe the sabbath prior to Moses' Law?

Another question that goes hand-in-hand, "What scriptural evidence is there that may show that God prohibited 7th Day observance?"

That does not negate the first question, but taken in balance, serves to illustrate that brothers who may have different beliefs regarding the Commands of God are invited to continue their walk together toward their Father and His reward.

I don't consider the idea of peaceful love found between brothers as any/some form of ecumenical watering down, but instead consider it as focusing on the Psalm 133 weightier matter. From whence does the Lord command the blessing?

I agree. I'm not suggesting that God prohibits 7th day observance. I would just like to know where in scripture it is required of any person prior to being written down in Moses' law. Without proof it is just presumption.

I personaly don't believe a presumed particular outward expression of obedience is more important than a personal inward spiritual observance, which can manifest itself in various ways as directed by the Holy Spirit. This is why I don't constantly condemn others as destined for wrath just because their works don't match mine. Some Christians are surely misinformed about non-essential doctrine, but by definition this cannot mean the majority of believers are damned, as a vocal minority preach according to the requirements of their siege complex.

Moses does give instructions about an upcoming Sabbath prior to Mt. Sinai.

I just think Paul is very clear about how the Sabbath command is fulfilled in this New Covenant. And it's not according to the literal fulfillment required in the old covenant. That was but a type and shadow of the real Sabbath Rest the people of God are commanded to enter into.
