Heres a thought I had earlier today.
Suppose, for examples sake, that a child is raised in a literally satanic household and is taught the inverse of Christianity, i.e. Satan is God, God is Satan, selfishness = good, kindness = weak, etc. The child grows up to be a corporate crook and is despicable and cunning; fooling the masses into thinking that he is a good person while doing whatever it takes to achieve his own desires. Realize that he has unavoidably been exposed to, even bombarded, with Christian ideas and attempts of conversion but perceives the Christian faith much in the same way Christians are raised to perceive his own; vile. Realize that this man had no power over what values he was taught as a child, and yet, is Satan incarnate. He does everything in his power to be a “good†person and thinks that everyone else is damned (a degree of “delusion†or “clarity†which extremist sects of Christianity, like the Amish, have proven to be possible). Can God be considered just if this man goes to hell? How can this be applied to inner city children being raised in abusive, drug using, prostituting house holds? People of other religeons "Thou shalt not have any other Gods besides me!"?

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.

If you were to ask a Satanist what He thinks of Christianity, I doubt he'd say he viewed it as "evil."

God will be just in His judgments. But I don't think you're giving enough credit to God: every man has a conscience.

I believe God to be all loving and that He has a plan for every human in Jesus. The problem of Hell is that over the period or age of the Church, words have not been translated correctly and a bias has been instituted in many of the modern commentaries. Read a literal translation in Greek on verses like Matthew 25:46 and I think you will see.

God knows a man before he is born. He sets the parameters of a man's life. We, of course, cannot see God's design since His ways are past finding out. While a person's family definitely influences how he will act, it cannot determine whay he will be. What a man is...he is.

It just may be that such a person's teenage rebellion years will cause him to choose what is right! Otherwise he is truly his parent's child.

John

God sent 2 shepherds. the first called favour, who worked miracles.

The second shepherd is called unity.

For there is one judgement upon the heads of all mankind. No matter religion, or upbringing. For, "God does not show favoritism".

and all those 'christians' you may assume are going to heaven, who do not live the cross, will also go to hell. "if you do not take up Your cross daily, and utterly deny yourself(aparneomi), you cannot be my disciple"

Your right, it is a paradox...he cannot reject what he has truly never been revealed by God

hence my own theory that ACTUALLY rejecting God is impossible. And i think God would be gracious to such a man when he sees God at the end of days in all his glory. :yes
