a question about Jesus???

When John sees Jesus in Rev. 1, Jesus says this...
Revelation 1:8 said:
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Jesus Christ tells us He is the Almighty. While still on earth, He told us He is the I AM. If you knew the Bible you would know that I AM is the very same God Abraham met back in Genesis.

Actually Revelation 1:8 is what GOD says. And an angel was sent to John, Jesus didn't tell him. Read the whole passage.

Revelation 1:1 "The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John."

Revelation 1:8 "'I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, 'who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.'"

So asserting one's belief that Jesus is God to apply to a verse that is clearly spoken of as coming from God Himself does not make it proof that Jesus is God.

It does to me since I happen to believe the Bible.

Here, take this one then. It was obviously God talking to Abraham.
John 8:58 said:
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Here's another one for ya.
Isaiah 9:6 said:
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

I have actually thought of this on a lot and wondered exactly what it was getting at. Seeing as this is a prophecy I'm led to think that these are all names Jesus would be called, not actually what to call him, especially seeing as he was named Jesus? Thoughts?
